Do you have an inner reading voice (IRV)?

I found this very interesting. It dovetails with recent
articles about not all people having internal monologues.
I have an IRV, and mine sounds like a male voice and has no
accent. Think narrator of a nature documentary, but nothing
like Sir David Attenborough. I wish my IRV was his voice with
his accent. It is, but only when I am viewing wild animals and
thinking to myself about what I am seeing - then Sir David
speaks, but as my inner monologue voice. If I am snorkeling,
that voice becomes Jacques Cousteau, but those are more about me
entertaining myself than anything else. :)

I think my usual IRV is probably my voice - at least it’s very
       similar to me.
When I’m reading something very fast, usually skimming, then
there isn’t a voice, I just grasp the words.
SBD. I hear multiple voices when I’m thinking something through.
The pros and cons are slightly different.
Yes, sometimes there are whole conversations in my head, does
that make me a little crazy?

If so, that makes two of us, Mikki.
       🥴
I've noticed that sometimes my inner reading voice has more of
       my native
southern accent than other times, depending on what I'm reading.
My accent varies when I'm speaking, too, depending on who, what,
       where, etc.
so it's not surprising the same would happen with my IRV.

Hmmm. Interesting. I can’t tell if I have an inner reading
       voice.
       I wasn’t listening.
       😁

       Your accent is interesting Talitha.
I grew up with a Grandma and Great Aunts from Norway. My Mom's
first language was Norwegian. As a child I heard a lot of
Norwegian spoken when Grandma, her siblings, and my Mom's
generation were together. I took a year of Norwegian as an
       adult.
Whenever I see Scandinavian words in writing I hear them with
proper accents even if my Norwegian isn't good enough to speak
       them properly.

I once listened to an ebook voiced by Jeremy Irons.
That might be the best reading voice ever.

My first thought, was, no, but maybe I don't know what that
means. After reading the article, I can pretty safely say, no. I
must be among the group of people with no IRV. Now, of course,
I'm sure I'll find myself paying more attention to whether I do
       or not.

If he's anything like me, nothing like anyone actually sounds.
Same as: I've never seen a photo of any of you that looked like
       my mental picture of you.
