We tamed dogs, they tamed us?

A rather idyllic (and probably not even close to historically
accurate) view of how dogs and people got together.

That dog is a natural teacher.
I wonder if it’s regular job is training puppies?

We had a German Shepherd when I was young. She had one litter
of puppies and she paper trained them within weeks. She'd pick
them up and drop them on the newspaper stack we left on the
porch for the pups. They caught on pretty quickly. Clearly,
mama didn't want a mess in her "nest."
But training a baby to crawl is a whole other level.
