ty all, I feel better just for having shared and feeling
"heard". The good news is that I told Scritchy and he was of the
"I don't give 2 farks" category.

Well, we'd like to see our son. He'd really like the computer
that his father built for him to be delivered. And... it's an
opportunity to get some outside time. Cuz we live in an
apartment without a balcony and there are spaces around but
well... I haven't been getting out much, and the spaces are a
patch vs a quilt if you know what I mean.

Oh, dear. Someone doesn't quite get the science behind
vaccines, does she?
I'm sorry that you're going to be surrounded by some people who
seem to be willfully ignorant. Hoping you and yours the best
possible outcomes from this visit. Enjoy seeing your child even
if you aren't going to get to visit the others.

Thanks. Fortunately me unicorn was totally unfazed by this. As
far as he's concerned, kiddo is the only one we need to see. His
parents can mask up if they want to see us. When it comes to the
rest of his family (who, as i said, he already told me to stop
arguing with idiots on the internet), his answer was to point to
his eye and ask me "Do you see any give-a-shits?".
This is not to say he actively dislikes his family. He does
consider them important. But as the world's largest introvert
he's also never placed a high priority on spending time with
them vs generally knowing about them as people who are important
to his closest people (his mom, mostly).
