Oh, sounds like my kind of series. It's on my watch list now.
Which reminds me. Recently I watched a couple of Harley Cobin
series on Netflix - "Stay Close" and "The Stranger". I liked
them a lot.

That's about how long I lasted. I was really disappointed. More
talented writers probably could have made something of that
premise.

The pilot is premise-heavy and slow.
Gets better. I wound up laughing through 3 episodes in a row
last night now that I can laugh without hurting. My SO likes it
too. And yes, it is always going to be a mix of corny and
funny.

Last night I watched the Van Gogh episode of Dr Who. Because,
well, ... *looks at username* *looks at Matt Smith* *shrugs*
Are you all watching the UK Ghosts on HBO? Or the US Ghosts on
CBS? I'm not watching either one, just curious.

I watched a few episodes of Columbo a few years ago. It's still
a good show, but what really struck me is how the pacing of
shows has changed so much since Law and Order. There was a not
short scene where Columbo gets in his car and drives to his next
location. I was on the edge of my seat, waiting for there to be
an accident or for the car to explode. It was just a leisurely
drive, and I remembered that's how many shows of that era were
paced.

I don't have HBO. I can't quite believe the CBS one just got
renewed. Whyyyyyy? I may have to watch a few more episodes to
see if it finds its feet.

I think the US Ghosts is the funniest thing in ages. When the
Viking guy sings the lullaby, it's a thing of beauty.

I'm watching both and I love them equally. The characters are
different enough it doesn't feel like a total steal.

I'm about to start the last season of The Expanse and I'm sad.
I'd make it last but once I start I can't stop watching that
series. It's been back to back Expanse since Saturday rewatching
for the new season and I'm not even a little bit sick of it.
