!!Ozark!! has finally arrived and I was so thrilled that I
didn't watch it last nite because I just want to hoard it for a
while (yeah I fully realize how messed up that sounds)....

Whole season! But this final season is only 7 episodes, I
believe.
So I'm watching something else & saving it up for when I
*really* need it!

We saw Belfast today - first in-theater film we've watched
since a 2020 revival screening of Jaws. It's a
semi-autobiographical Kenneth Branagh movie and we thought it
was very well done. Don't want to post spoilers, so I'll stop
there.
TV-wise, we've recently watched The Duchess of Duke Street,
Atlantic Crossing, and re-binged seasons 1-3 of Mrs. Maisel.
Would recommend all.

I wanted to try something light and stupid so I started watching
"Ghosts" on demand.
Man, it is really terrible so far. So bad. The writing is
*awful.*

I think I lasted about 10-15 minutes with "Ghosts". I can't
believe someone got paid for writing that!
OTOH, it gives me hope. I mean, anyone can do better! :)

That's about how long I lasted. I was really disappointed. More
talented writers probably could have made something of that
premise.

I decided to watch the last season first, because it's been so
long. I'm glad I decided to do that. I'm only a couple of
episodes in but I'm finding that there is so much I've
forgotten.

Anyone else watch Portrait Artist of the Year on Prime?
It's an amazingly relaxing show to watch.
Also, "True Story" on Peacock seems pretty funny.
And if you haven't seen it, everyone should watch Barb and Star
Go to Vista Del Rey. Except kids. Kids shouldn't watch it.
I don't do dark or edgy now. I am all about pretty, calm, or
goofy.
Edited to add-- I've also been watching Columbo. The really old
ones are great-- the period decor/hair/fashion are fun, the
victims and suspects are played by a lot of people who went on
to be big, and its all fairly cerebral-- not a lot of gore,
considering. The very best ones are the tv monies that seem to
have predated the series.
