Finished the 1st season of Only Murders in the Building last
night. I liked it more than I was expecting to, which is always
       nice.
Now comes the hard part -- what to watch next? Maybe I'll get
caught up on The Crown, I haven't watched the most recent season
       yet.

So I am watching "A Discovery of Witches" on AMC+. I am hitting
these streaming deals. It was 23.98 for a year. My credit card
is giving $4 of that back to me.
So I was reluctant. I thought it was another "vampire show" But
I was surprised that it was different enough to hold my
attention for a few episodes. Then the cerebral conflicted
heroine becomes bonded and devoted to her vampire. Oh wait, It
IS another "vampire show"!! But how come it doesn't feel that
way? Has the "vampire show" grown up, matured and gotten it's
Ph. D along with a certain amount of sophistication? It's not
campy nor extremely dark. I keep watching it just to see if I'll
want to stop. I am even getting the notion to read the books.
That's my take and if anyone has read the books, let me know how
       they are.---Miss D.

Due to a lack of communication on both sides, I am binging
season 6 of Legends of Tomorrow.
It piled up on the DVR, and I was waiting for the unicorn, and
the unicorn was waiting for me so that we could watch it
together. But while we were waiting for the other one to say
"okay, let's watch now", season 7 started and Netflix started
streaming season 6 and he went and watched them all without me.
So now I have to catch up. And then hopefully we will actually
       manage to watch 7 together.

For those who enjoy period pieces, we've been watching The
Duchess of Duke Street lately and are really into it. Louisa
Trotter, the main character, is based on a real person, Rosa
       Lewis.

For Britbox fans, In Defence (UK spelling) is great. Only 4
episodes, is 20 yrs old, but still timely issues, and major
       bonus—young * Idris Elba* 👀 is in Ep #3!!!!!

       Strictly fluff:
Free Guy (Ryan Reynolds). Cute, fun, upbeat, funny. Exactly
       what you would expect.
Jungle Cruise (Dwayne Johnson) Yeah, no. Too much CGI, not that
       funny.

I watched the new Drew Michael HBO special. I enjoyed it as
much as I enjoyed his first special. I'm sure I will watch it
       again.
