Funds sent/used for/balance

I meant to start this back when the first funds were sent, but
so far this is the list:
~ 08/20 - $50 sent by anonymous donor for additional 1 GB of
storage space, installed.
09/07 - $30 sent by anonymous donor to install the chatroom
feature, installed.
At the moment, I'm picking up the $5/month to keep this ad-free
and for the gallery usability that we're still stumbling around
figuring out, lol.
For those who have asked about donating to the $5/month or for
future upgrades, you can find me on Venmo as "animaniactoo" or
if you prefer to use Zelle, I will pm you my e-mail address for
that. Any funds received will be logged here with a running
balance.

$50 received for ongoing forum needs, and that is the current
balance to be applied as needed. Will update as it’s used for
anything.

$100 received for general upkeep today.
+ 50 previous balance,

Paid for $8 subscription for 50,000 ad-free page views on the
basis that if we went through the 25k in 2 weeks (approx), then
50k should get us through the next 2 weeks until the $5 charges
again and have a bit left over to boot.
$142 balance left in the kitty for forum management.

Last night's purchase of 50k ad-free page views seems to be
going quicker than expected. When it runs out, I think it is our
best bet to switch from the 2 current subscriptions (totals
$13/mth) to the unlimited ad-free for $15/mth which also nets us
an extra 100 mb of storage space.

Question: would it be cheaper to switch to pictures from hosted
sites, like pretty much everywhere else on the interwebs seems
to do?

I dunno. At this point storage is not an issue and not likely to
be for the near future. The current funding is primarily being
used to keep the site ad-free, and to install specific options
like the chat room, and there are not any more of those options
that I think we would want to install at this point.

We were going to run out of ad-free pageviews again today (we
were down to 4K and had started off the day with 19K left),
so I canceled the previous monthly subscriptions for 25K and 50K
(at 5/mth and 8/mth) and started a new unlimited views
subscription for 14.95/mth.
In the kitty:

Current balance: $177.05

The only ongoing expense at this point is the monthly
subscription for the unlimited ad-free views (basically keeping
us ad-free) which is the $14.95 a month.
Other than that, we should be good on image storage for a very
long time (like a year at least), so we would need to upload a
LOT of images (and I can manage some of that by removing old
images if needed) to need anything more on that front.
Whether we get the additional reactions is still a question of
whether it even can be done as a custom job.
