I think this means something important:
I used to sing to my dogs all the time, just little doggerel I'd
make up as I went along. I'd sing to them at mealtime, on walks,
when we were lying quietly together, when I was getting them out
of bed in the morning, playing in the yard. It started within a
day or two of Dakota being in my life. I haven't really been
singing to Ziva since Dakota died.
Until the past few days. I heard myself singing Ziva out of bed
and singing as I got her dinner ready. I was just singing to her
outside in the snow.
I think this means something important.

Aw, that's lovely.

I think both things are right.

Here is Ziva playing in the yard in the fresh snow.
(Sorry about all the breathing. The human had to bend to get the
ball a bunch of times.)

Here is Ziva telling the human it's too soon to go home. It's
about 10 minutes after the previous video and after the human
put the ball away for a second time. Footage also includes some
human begging, so sound up.

Very polite human begging (that went largely ignored).
What did she find ? A frozen blue balloon from a while back?
(ps. These vids & pix are the *only* positive thing about
winter for me: I almost dont want spring to come.
⛄🙏)

It's one of the balls we were playing with. I keep them by
neighbor's gas meter so they don't get lost in the snow.
And it wasn't largely ignored. ;-)
