How appropriate to designate Labor Day as your Ziva anniversary.
A true labor of love.

We have a rescue Ziva, too! We pick strong female characters
from TV shows we watched with our sons as they were growing up.
Our previous rescue was named for a Star Trek character. Tells
you all you need to know about our nerdiness. While both TV
characters were known for their prowess with weaponry, our dogs
are hardly the protective type. They'll give an intruder the sad
"I desperately need a treat" look instead of defending the
homeland.

Ziva swims; Dakota wades. It was Baton Rouge in late August. I
think it was about 200 that day with 110% humidity. It made D a
little lazy.

This is Ziva after standing in the falling snow for about 5
minutes. Make it larger for better detail.

Ziva is so tall and lovely.
She makes LCP look like a miniature.

What a pretty girl! Does she appreciate snowballs? I had so much
fun throwing snowballs for mom's nutty lab(s).

She loves everything about snow. Yesterday, we were playing
ball, and she would drop the ball in the snow, roll it around,
and lick the snow off. Like her own personal snow cone.

She's about 4" taller than Dakota was, and D was a more pure
Lab, I think. Z goes about 85 lbs and is right around her ideal
weight. LCP will get there.
