       Floof Fairy Tale

       Once upon a time ....
       As a little kid begging for a kitten or puppy, I was always told
       no because my dad didnt like animals.
       Fast forward decades when an allergist informed me I was
       allergic to my guinea pig (and not to outdoor vegetation as I'd
       assumed).  I reluctantly asked my parents if they'd take care of
       her while my sinuses recovered.
       Well, that pig decided she loved my dad.  When  mom took her out
       of her cage to get some exercise on the floor, the pig would
       make a beeline for wherever my dad was reading and sit next to
       his feet.
       Apparently, dad had spoiled her with special treats which led to
       their mutual appreciation lovefest.
       So, the moral of the story:  You just never know when youre
       going to stumble across a closet [s]animal[/s] Floof lover.
