I think this is totally normal for cats. I used to cat sit for a
couple that took a month long trip each year, and the first
couple years, the female cat was a total pest to the male cat,
who had some health issues. Then the female cat had a stroke
(not while I was taking care of them, thank goodness!) and the
following year, the male cat was the aggressive one. I've always
thought he was just getting her back because he was otherwise a
total sweetheart and one of my most favorite felines ever. His
purr sounded like a bird cooing - that's not related to this at
all, but it was super duper adorable.
Anyway, it probably is the power flip; Nori thinks she gets to
be the powerful one now. Sasha will remind her who's boss
eventually.

Mojo for Sasha. She spent 24 hours throwing up every couple of
hours. I finally remembered that I had some Cerenia for nausea
that she had been given some months ago. I gave her some last
night. She threw up about 2.5 hours later but nothing since.
She got another dose tonight. So she hasn't thrown up in 24
hours but she also hasn't eaten as far as I can tell and hasn't
eaten for probably 3 days at this point.
Another thing to add to my list of worries this week

Sasha started eating last night. I don't feel like she is
eating a lot based on food levels in bowls but I witnessed her
actually crunching the kibble so I know she got something into
her at least.
Thank goodness because I'm on my trip to Boston. She is in the
care of a friend but not sure friend would notice anything
unless it's severe.

Dear Sasha,
I loved you so much. I'm sorry you are gone.
I noticed I hadnt written about you in a year and I know why.
You were Sasha Bear - the good girl. The worst thing you did
was step on my port every.single.damn.day as you tried to lie on
my chest and then complain when I just wanted to move you to the
other side. There was no ripping up of toilet paper and Kleenex
or biting people or the dozens of other things that Naughty Nori
did..
You just wanted to cuddle me or lie on the computer when I put
it down. You also seemed to lose me on a regular basis and
would walk around the house crying carrying your mouse until you
found me. How many times did I make the bed in the morning and
realize I had been sleeping with mouse. Thank you for your late
night gifts.
I will always look at that heart pillow and remember you. When
I was blinded for 10 days and stayed in the bedroom, you spent
that entire time with me sleeping on that pillow. I will never
forget that.
I always said that you weren't what I wanted but you were what I
needed. And I stand by that. You accidentally came into my
life and I don't regret that one bit.
Mr. wasn't convinced when I said you were the One but he said
today that you had tricked him and he fell in love with you
anyway. He said he will always remember you lying on the top of
his monitor with your tail hanging down across the monitor while
he tried to work.
We loved you Sasha girl and we are devastated that you are no
longer with us.

Everyone, whether human or animal, should be loved like Sasha
was loved.
I'm trying not to cry, but your post about her was so loving.
