Long time no see!

Did you hear about the burglary at the detergent factory?
The thief made a clean getaway 😂
Happy New Year! After some gentle encouragement (thanks
Lurknomore & ACL!) I thought I would drop by and say hello to
anyone who remembers me. I hope this finds everyone happy &
healthy & full of good cheer. Life’s been good on this end. Mr
Longtall still likes me and the kids are thriving. Son is
getting married to someone we love in August and daughter got a
great job at Cargill. I’m still babysitting for the grand
nieces/nephew a few times a week. We went to a wedding in
Scotland in August and spent 10 days in that amazing country. I
still tell stupid dad jokes and fight with strangers on WaPo
comments. My 2024 resolution includes doing less of the latter!
Also to get in really good shape for the wedding in August. I
want to have arms like Michelle Obama. So there you have it!
I brought my own spoon to a cooking class last night.
It caused quite a stir. (groan)
