Two months off for 20 hours of fast food service?

Creative, but I think she should have been given 60 hours of the
fast-food job, during rush hours only. And 5 hours tacked on
for every shift she shows up late or sneaks out early.

20 hours per week for two months. So about 160 hours. Also, I
would be very surprised if the agreement didn't include
behavioral expectations with the penalty of completing her full
       sentence if she violates them.
I do hope Chipotle is completely on board, though. Training new
employees takes resources away from their day-to-day. I doubt
that the payoff for an employee who will only be there 2 months
       is worth it.

Yes. This is going to be nothing but annoyance for Chipotle.
Does the victim have to work alongside her attacker?

No, the victim quit. She's found a new job with Raising Cain's.
She had to spend hours working with that food in her face and
hair and couldn't get to the ER until after her shift because
they didn't send anyone to relieve her.

True, I skimmed that bit, but still. And where is she going to
work? I'd be leery of taking her on at all if I owned a
       franchise.

Wow. If I get burns all over my face I'm going to the ER. The
world can get along without Chipotle for the rest of the day.
