Back to school for a friend's children

My friend who lives in Evanston had a hard hard year last year
with two children trying to learn from home. In particular she
said her son, about seven, got surly and argumentative. I know
she and her husband put a lot of thought into what to do this
fall. So...on FB this morning (the way I hear about her life
since she moved out there) she posted a picture of two of the
happiest-looking kids I have ever seen, all dressed up for the
first day of school at a small nearby Montessori school. She
said they were rarin' to go and that the boy darted in the door
to the school without even saying goodbye. I'll be so happy for
her if this works out. She's been so disappointed with some
things about the public schools and she also desperately wants
to get back to her business, which is a cooking school for
children.
No need to reply; I just want to share some happy back to school
news.
