       The ears or the kittens?
Mom asked if the big ears were normal. I said Devon Rexes have
big ears but she has outdone herself in the ear size department.
But she still insists that she is cuter than Frankie.
Those ears remind me of Sammy.

My response was supposed to be a funny as I figured you meant
the kittens. I look at those chunky front legs and wonder if
she is going to be big like Coco. Big being in the 9lb range.
       Sasha is 7 soaking wet.

They are adorable! Such ears - how can they have ears that are
       bigger than their heads? :)

I am doing my darndest to do nothing and be compliant in my
recovery. I do not want to miss that flight. It's less than 2
       weeks now.

       Yes, take care of yourself!
I dropped some shoe boxes off at the local shelter on Saturday
and if course just “looked.” I saw a flame point siamese who
seemed to pick me. Put in an application. But just found out
that someone else got their app in before me, and they’re
getting him. Oh well, wasn’t meant to be even though it felt
like I was his. Otoh, if anything changes the shelter said
       they’d call me.
I might go look again this weekend. They got about 40 cats from
a hoarding situation. There was another that looked similar but
is supposedly very timid, and short haired. The one I liked had
       medium hair.
I remain torn about adding another cat, especially considering
my age and health. I want. But should I? Such a dilemma.

I questioned not getting baby girl esp. if the CT scan came back
with bad news. But it didn't and I am not going to put my life
on hold waiting for something that might not happen. If I get
cancer later then I will deal with that bridge when I get to it.
Otherwise, baby girl... Here I come!

Do you have family or a good friend who could commit to taking
       the cat if necessary?

Probably. Son would be first choice. He has talked about getting
another, but right now he’s good with just ollie. There are a
few others I could ask. And of course there’s Mr.
