Maybe when it manifests you can have her teeth cleaned at the
       same time.

       Nori rocks.
I've been getting her used to the harness in the house.
Yesterday, I decided on a whim to take her outside with to the
car. She walked most of the sidewalk to the parking lot. Which
is amazing. I've tried with 2 other cats over the years and
it's been a big fat failure. Not only that, I got her to walk
up the entire set of stairs to our door.
Later on, I took her with me while I chatted with mom. We sat
on a bench in a grassy area. She had no desire to explore but
sat on my lap and just watched things while I talked to Mom.
Then she walked from the bench to the pool. The kids playing
bothered her so I carried her back to the sidewalk in front of
our building and she walked back up the sidewalk.
So very proud of her. We will have to keep practicing this.

I’ve had two cats who were good in a harness. One just tolerated
it but my male liked to walk and loved all the attention he got
from people we’d meet. I swear that cat was half dog.

I think it's awesome that Nori will walk so nicely on a leash.
Meanwhile, Octavia will let me clean her teary eye IF I manage
to do it on the first pass. Otherwise she has places to go and
things to do that don't involve eye wipes, thankyouverymuch.

Understand that. Nori is pretty good about it all. Sasha much
less so. She is a grumpypants.

I had two cats I used to (try to) walk on leashes. Brother and
sister. They invariably wanted to go in opposite directions.
😄Loved those two. They were great kitties. The boy loved
toll booths - if he could, he would have handed over the money.

Nori had a big week this week. She had a follow-up cardiology
exam. Her condition is stable. As long as she is stable, no
       medication or surgery.
She then got spayed today at the hospital. The surgeon was a
bit frightening as she talked about cardiac arrest and other
dangers. The surgery went off without a hitch. Their biggest
problem was getting the catheter in because she is so tiny. She
has just gotten over the 5lb mark.
She had to stay overnight for monitoring. I pick her up
       tomorrow.
I miss her. I have to admit that Sasha is the happiest cat ever
right now. She has even played fetch with me tonight. That is
just not possible with Nori around.

Nori did not get the memo that she isn't supposed to be jumping.
I have found her on the countertop several times tonight. I'm
doing my best to preempt her but she is quick.
I'm praying that the stitches hold despite her engaging in
       banned behaviours.

Just put all the forbidden things on the floor. That'll solve
       it. ;)

There is really nothing forbidden there. She wants to play with
the water coming from the tap and investigate what I am doing.
Pretty much the second I use the water, she is there.
