If she turns out to be a cat with an attitude then I'm
considering Nikita or maybe even break with tradition and call
her Katie after Katie Sackoff. I've been watching her in
Another Life and have been reminded how often she gets cast as a
kick ass woman.

That mustache is going to be a love/hate thing. But their faces
do change as they grow up so it might resolve into dots.
In this case the waiting is not hard. I really don't want to be
responsible for her during the initial surgery recovery. So
pickup in June is perfect. In fact everything just fell
together perfectly when it came to her. She was born 2 days
after I reached out to the breeder to Sasha's daughter. There
was an actual calico ( my absolute favourite) and the breeder
didn't want her for his program. And of course pickup is
excellent timing.

Nothing is speaking to me much in terms of gender neutral names.
Did some googling last night.

Riley
Cassidy
Kirby
Parker (remember Parker Stevenson?)
Remy or Remington
Jordan
Jules
Alex
Madison
List is created. We will have to see what happens when I meet
her.

For some I know reason, Riley stood out to me.
Looked up the meaning:
“courageous, valiant. Riley is a gender-neutral name of British
origin. A versatile choice for both girls and boys”
ETA-I meant for some unknown reason, not I know. Damn auto
incorrect!

I sort of did the list from best to worst. I'm favouring the
ones at the top over the ones further down.
Out of all the choices presented by others and thought of by
myself Riley and Katee are probably the top contenders.
This is the first time I have had a chance to get to know the
kitten in advance with videos. Not sure if that means a name
will stick or it will change on meeting.

Yeah, I agree that meeting first naming second makes sense. I
once changed names after a week of knowing the cats. Some people
think there’s some telepathy between humans and animals, and if
you ‘listen’, they’ll tell you their names.
