Oreally, I imagine you are exactly right. They have never
evacuated from hurricanes. They have lived there for several
generations and survived many storms.

My sister moved down to NOLA for school about a month ago. Heard
from her that she packed up and drove to Mississippi, and is
staying at a hotel there, so she should be ok, but damn, it's
scary. And so soon after she moved!
The important thing is she should be safe but mojo still
appreciated!

Thanks to catdancing for this - I've been glancing at it for an
hour and it's angrier and angrier

Mojo for Oreally, Mr Bay's sister, and Louisiana and everyone
that Ida wears herself out and just has little dribbles left by
the time she gets to you.

I was looking at the stormtrack, and I just realized that it's
scheduled to stomp merrily across the Mississippi Delta area. I
disapprove heartily of this, on the grounds that this is where
Sbig and Mrs. Sbig live, and hope that it does nothing of the
sort.

I just took my dog for a walk and a piece of gable end siding
tore off and flew away, not in my direction. I decided I didn't
want to get my head cut off so we went back home.

This happened in Houma near the coast, for those who have
Facebook.

There are some alarming videos of conditions in Houma, and I
don't think they'd be improved in the slightest if anything
whacked you on account of all that wind. Is the eye past you
yet?

I think I get the eye around 8:00 PM. I need to find an update
on that.
