How are we saving our Ignore list ?
I'm testing ignoring KathySky & Rufus711 (just a test!) by
adding their names the Ignore list, but it still doesnt work.

       EU-FREAKING-REKA !
[member=19]KathySky[/member]: After you've added your ignored
goobers like you did, you have go to your
Profile, "Look and Layout" page, & check the box, "Hide
messages posted by members on my ignore list."
Then select "Change Profile" button in lower left corner of
       page.
I did that for you: and although I can still see your username,
I dont see your avatar or text of your message.
Pls let me know if it works for you !

       Re adding attachments:
       ARgh!
There's a dropdown menu that provides several options: end of
post expandable thumbnail; inline expandable thumbnail; etc.
Given that I've mucked it up everytime I've tried to modify
attachment size, a weird error msg appears in my comment after I
       post.
I'm usually trying to decrease the size of the attached image so
that it's not huuuge in the posted comment.
What the H am I doing wrong ? What's the correct sequence of
       actions here ?

Choose the file you want to attach first, and then choose
"inline thumbnail" or whatever they call it. If you change the
attachment type first, it won't work.
There are a few bugs in the system.

Is there any security reason not to post a scanned photo from
       one's own computer files?
I've seen that people often use snap fish or other online type
of photo storage. Why do they do this, rather than just posting
a picture directly from their own computer?

Not a security reason. Generally format/size limits. Posting a
link gets you whatever the max or allowable format types of the
photo storage site, whereas a direct upload here might not
support the size or format. And if you can’t fiddle with those
things on your own easily enough, it’s a simple workaround.

Also if you post it from your own computer, the image is only
visible on the forum when your computer is on and available for
internet requests from the outside. So you'd need a fixed IP
address so your link wouldn't always be changing, a computer
that's up pretty much all the time, and a gateway that allows
requests from outside (which is a potential security risk, at
least it's another doorway that you'd have to watch).

Note that this is only true if you're posting it as a link to
the image on your computer, vs what I believe Kathy was asking
about which is uploading directly (as an attachment) here.

I can't find where the different categories of posters are
listed, i.e. how many posts get one to a specific level.
Specifically, I thought that a guest/member needed to post at
least 5 times in order to see certain threads, such as thread of
       the day.
       Am I wrong on this?
