Ask an administrator. Or moderator. Or computer whiz.

I hope this can be a place to ask mildly technical questions
such as goodnight gracie's question about the ignore list.
       Here's mine:
Is there a way to sort the memberlist? So I can see, say, how
many posters we have who are lurkers or who has recently climbed
       Mouth Everest?
It's purely for idle amusement, so I don't care that much if I
       can't.

The member list is sortable by name and post counts, click at
       the top of the column.
My tech question is I have sent a scant few private messages, a
few people replied so I know they go through, but if I click on
sent messages there is nothing there.
In which way am I being an idiot?

Yes, if you click on the title "position" or "posts", it will
       sort by that data.

In not noticing that you have to (STUPIDLY) save a copy of any
message to your "outbox". The checkbox for this is directly
below the PM composition window, and you can turn it on as
       default in your account settings.
N.B.: in the same location, you can choose "conversation view"
which then looks like gmail or any other post thread.

You can make "save a copy" your default.
Um, I can't remember exactly how. But if I could find it, you
       definitely can.

I have found that I really don't like saving PMs. I will let it
save a copy in the outbox, which is really sent items for all
other modern messaging apps. I noticed that after I sent one and
checked the box to save a copy, the next time it was already
       checked.
       Hope this helps

And promptly proved we're still figuring out what the fuck we're
doing when it comes to maneuvering around on this platform. I
have, like, a 2 day head start.

What was I doing wrong with following up to a comment with
quoting the comment I'm replying to?
       - I clicked the "Quote" box at the top right of the comment I'm
replying to. The Reply box shows up, but there's no comment in
       it.
       - I moved away into a different thread, posted a throwaway
response elsewhere, and then came back to it, and then the same
       thing happened.
So instead I used the "Quick Reply" and copy and pasted what I
was following up into a quote, which is okay but I'd like to
know what I was doing wrong so I don't always have to do that.
