People are dragging him on twitter and it is so fun (although
very sad what's happening to it in general)

Kathy Griffin was already dropped for the way she tweeted about
him. Because free speech is all that matters.

I saw Valerie Bertanelli was trending yesterday so I clicked to
       see what the deal was.
She'd changed her username to Elon Musk & was encouraging ppl to
vote blue to protect our rights. It was some seriously great
       trolling & she was brilliant.
Then this am, the Actual Troll aka Musk tweet:
"Going forward, any Twitter handles engaging in impersonation
without clearly specifying “parody” will be permanently
       suspended"
Larry the Cat of 10Downing response to Musk:
"First they came for the parody accounts… and I was pretty
shocked, because there are actual Nazis on this platform that
should probably be dealt with first."

I am beginning to wonder if this takeover of twitter might be a
future case study in economics/business classes as a what not to
       do.
I don't see how this doesn't end poorly.
One day he tweets out humor is back at twitter, two days later
       he's banning kathy griffin
Speech is free unless it mocks him, I guess.
I find it entertaining, for now, but it's probably going to
implode, wait til he bans off-topic!

By the way for those keeping score, Tesla stock hit a fresh 52
       week low today.
down more than 50% from it's high.
Also musk tweeted out for independent voters to vote republican
tomorrow, so that's his independence shining through.

At least on twitter, before he acquired it, it seemed a lot of
people viewed him as some kind of Tony Stark. I'm hoping this
       now will shred his reputation.

btw, all the screenshots I'm posting are people who've been
suspended by twitter for mocking him. Really. This one is the
actor who played Harry Crane on "Mad Men"

Why it's a problem that senior people are quitting and people
       don't want to come back:
Twitter has a complex architecture *for a reason.* And it needs
some level of institutional knowledge to maintain.
This institutional knowledge both got fired + is walking out the
       door.

In practical terms: software engineers who are with the company
are now put on oncall rotations for systems they have no idea
about. I mean, they can figure it out... easiest to talk with
       someone who knows these.
The problem is when there's no such person left.
