Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake with Caramel Bourbon Sauce

I was reminded of this while posting on another thread and as we
head in to fall, it seems like a prime time to share.
The trick to making this amazing (found in the comments
something like a decade ago) is to double all the spices in the
cheesecake mixture.

Also, if you add a little extra bourbon to the caramel sauce, I
have yet to hear anybody complain and say it was too much...

That is very close to the pumpkin cheesecake recipe that I've
used for nearly 40 years.
It is so delicious! But I've never made the sauce, I'll have to
try it.
