Ok, to be fair, I don't consider myself a lurker because life
got crazy and I haven't checked in for a bit. But whoa.....I
came back and now the posts go in the opposite order and I'm
embarrassed to admit how long it took me to figure out what the
heck was happening. ;D Sorry I'm an old school message boarder
so the mind was blown for sure.

I did not but that would be awesome to know! I keep clicking on
threads to read and my brain is just not adjusting. Thanks for

Go to Profile > Look & Layout (in the lefthand sidebar menu) and
click or unclick "show most recent posts first" (or whatever the
wording is). :)

that use a format similar to this, so the learning curve should
be short. Have been DerwoodMom and shutterbug59 on WaPo.

I've admired those of you whom I recognize from years of lurking

It's so easy to do... I just get to enjoy reading everyone
else's posts - here or there - see what all y'all are

standing apart.
But then WaPo/Hax chose to treat the 'Nuts so abysmally, and I
thought of the Joni Mitchel song, Big Yellow Taxi: "Don't it
always seem to go that you don't know what you've got till it's
gone..." And I decided that Reddit and the Hax Forum were a
second chance, and that, having been granted a second chance,
I'd jump in and get dirty!
So here I am, and I've never introduced myself...
Born and raised in Hawaii. Left at 21. Trained horses and
riders. Rode x-country on a motorcycle with my boyfriend. Became
an EMT then an ICU nurse. Left nursing for medical software
consulting. Burned WAY out. Got credentialed as a Life Coach.
Hated marketing myself. Now in my mid-60's, I love, love, love
plants and growing veggies, so am happy as a clam working at a
fancy retail nursery, where I cannot use my phone during the day
(except on breaks, to catch up with the Hax sites... all 3 of
'em)
So that's me in a paper bag.
Quiz to follow...
I'm so grateful for everyone here! I'll post when I can, which
is on my days off. It's a promise I've made to myself.
And yeah, I'll have to lurk on my workdays. But I'm good at it.
