Clearly the fact that I'm retired makes this possible - back
when I had a long and stressful commute...I was not laid back at
all. My favorite expression was, "Fuck a Duck!!! Fuck a
Fucking Duck!" General, all purpose, maximum f-bombs. Win,
win.

short stretch of road near my house that tests my patience
greatly - due to a fairly high percentage of elderly drivers
heading to a grocery store who drive 10 mph - or less - on a 45
mpr road. So I'll shout - "Use the accelerator! "You can do
it!" "Come on, just give it a little gas!!!
>

Manhattan her entire life. Her father taught her to drive by
saying, "First the gas, then the brake. A little gas, then the
brake." She never took to driving, I can't imagine why.

I say, "Pedal harder!"

I either mutter "Throw another nut to your squirrel!" or "Stop
playing with the family jewels and drive, dipshit!"

If that's the case, then kiss our collective ass!
And use your damn signal.

But turn it off after the lane change, please!
[/quote]
We call that “blinking your ass off”. I have no idea why.
“Is this guy changing lanes? No, he’s just blinking his ass
off.”

Fwiw Another interesting byproduct of this thread:
I have a feeling I'm going to inadvertently pick up some of the
insults here and use them against my hapless unsuspecting local
drivers.
See: "You're blinking your ass off !" 🚗🚗

I like driving and no longer need to do the daily commute which
helps a lot. So I’m usually fairly relaxed. When I do need to
speak sternly to another driver though I find myself almost
always referring to them as sweet cheeks or sweetie pie. As in
“Move along sweet cheeks”.
For some reason this amuses my husband (who is never called
either of those).

Could you at least fix ONE of your three brakelights!?!?
Oh, very nice! Turn left from the rightmost of three lanes of
traffic while signalling for a right turn and apparently not
even looking!
