Continuing to get to know this Coco.
Even though I'm not allowed to lift anything... Making an
exception for coco. She is less than 9 lbs.
She has always hated being held by me and would almost always
start struggling immediately to get down. She is a bit like a
sack of potatoes when you pick her up now but when I do... She
starts huffing. She might not have what it takes to struggle
but she still knows how to tell me she ain't happy with the
       situation.
I am on the bed. I put her next to me on a pee pad in her usual
spot. She is snoozing. I'm goofing off... All is good for the
       moment
My only worry is that she isn't eating. Going to try some
mirataz later. It's an appetite stimulant.

Now that I have spent time with her,. I realize she has quite
       laboured breathing.
I have made another appt for tomorrow. I hope that they have an
aha moment because she can't go on for too long with this
       breathing.
She isn't purring. Coco always purrs unless she is ill....
Which is rare... So I think she isn't feeling good at all.
I know I left Frankie too long. I don't want to make that
       mistake again.

I understand. I know it’s hard, but I waited too long with
Ricky, and I do regret that. Sometimes the hardest thing for us
is the kindest thing for them.
With Alex-dog, we decided to take him to the vet on Sunday. He
died at home in the early morning hours. We knew he was gone,
wasn’t going to wake up or get better, but I could still feel
his heart trying to beat. I swear it stopped and started again
several times. I told him was ok to let go, we all kissed him,
       and then he let go.

I'm so sorry. {{{hugs}}} This is the very hardest part of loving
our fur friends. I'm sure you'll do what's right when the time
comes, but I hope Coco is not at that point yet.

       This is so hard.
I was a vet tech back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and I'm a
firm proponent of the adage "better a day too soon than an hour
       too late."

I'm so sorry Billie. I know you'll do what's best for Coco, even
though this hurts. I hope there's a breakthrough to give you
       both more time.

We came in as an emergency to our vet and got a good no nonsense
vet. I used to go to her all the time before our schedules
       didn't mesh anymore.
She says she thinks she has thrown a clot or two. She recommends
a cardio consult. If the cardio consult does not agree with her
then she has no viable plan for Coco and we need to plan for end
of life. The next likely cause is cancer and the only place she
hadn't been scanned is her skull.
Cardio consult would have her on blood thinners and heart meds
if that turned out to be the issue and would resolve most of the
       outstanding issues.
We are waiting to see if we can get an emergency cardio consult.
This is our final diagnostic attempt.

Can you just put her on blood thinners and see if it helps?
