The Queen and the Lazy Tiger

Hi all,
I thought I'd introduce our cats since I enjoy everyone else's
stories so much. These are their new internet names, and I'll
probably forget them. The Queen (white and gray0 is about 14 and
earned her name from her attitude, not her breeding history. She
is convinced she rules the house and the rest of us are her
disobedient servants. She travels the neighborhood looking for
new willing subjects who will give her all the love and treats
she deserves. The Lazy Tiger (gray tiger) is a year younger and
sleeps 23.5 hours out of any day. The rest of the day is spent
eating and demanding love. He goes outside but only to nap under
a car or in a flower bed.

Ah, they're lovely. I'll bet that half hour demanding love is a
very intense half hour. No wonder the Tiger needs to sleep most
of the day!

Sadly, the Queen is not doing well. Diagnosed today with chronic
kidney failure and a kidney stone lodged in her urethra. She's
in the kitty hospital today in hopes they can improve her kidney
numbers and get the stone to pass. If they can't treat the stone
medically, we'll have to put her to sleep. :'(

Oh no. I'm so very sorry to hear about The Queen: and so soon
after we got to see her, too.
