Air fryer: Yea or nay ?

Speak to me of air fryers. (I'm lazy but like to eat healthy if
       possible, so I'm considering one.)
What brand do you have ?
How often do you use? For what?
How's the cleaning? Storage space: is it a pain?
Was it worth it: would you buy again, or does it mostly just
       take up space.
Welcome the good, the bad (and any ugly)!

I had a thread on kitchen gadgets where this was discussed.
Everyone told me to buy one and I did not because I am not
sacrificing any more counter space to something that I probably
       won't use that much.
I looked in the store and to my eye they are kind of enormous.

I got a Ninja air fryer/toaster oven, because my regular oven is
on the fritz. It's smaller and less expensive than a smart oven
with an air fryer. And it's a multi-tasker compared to a
bucket-style air fryer. I like that I can spread out the food on
a rectangular pan rather than have to arrange it in the bowl of
       a bucket.
It does a better job on frozen fries, fish fillets, and the like
than the regular oven does. It's great for reheating pizza. I
haven't experimented much with recipes designed for the air
fryer, but the couple I have done were fine. So, I would say
it's a nice-to-have but not life changing. Probably not worth
the space for a very small kitchen but otherwise could be.

I have a rather big one and keep it under the counter. It does
french fries very well, and I like it for that.
But I've fairly recently discovered that convection ovens are
basically the same thing and guess what? My oven has a
convection setting, and my microwave does, too! So I have three.
       😁
But the actual air fryer is great, although its capacity is
fairly limited. I can make oven-fried chicken tenders for two
       people but not more.
You may find that a countertop convection/toaster oven meets
your needs better. That's what my mom bought.
I'm happy with mine and it's actually better for some things
than the convection oven. Fries, for example, as they sit on a
grate with holes and the air circulates better around it.
I probly use it about once a month. I have lots of space under
my counter, so storage is not a problem for me.
       Good luck!

I do not have one, but they discuss them frequently in one of my
cooking groups. The biggest thing to consider is how you'll use
it — delicate items that would fare better in a sheet tray set
up v. french fries. Then how many people you're feeding.
