Tried another one pot recipe last night. When it says a few
minutes under the broiler it means A FEW MINUTES under the
broiler. Wow, that got brown fast.
       16 oz ground Italian sausage
       1/2 c pepperoni divided
       1 jar marinara sauce
       3 c water
       16 oz box rigatoni pasta
       2 cups shredded mozzarella
In dutch oven, brown sausage then drain fat. Add half pepperoni
       then cook for a minute.
Add marinara and season with salt and pepper
       Add water and rigatoni
Bring to boil then cover, simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat, top with cheese and remaining pepperoni
Place under broiler on high until cheese is melted and golden
       brown
       Soooo good.

I want to be sure I understand the instructions-- the rigatoni
is cooked in water with the marinara & sausage & half the
       pepperoni, and not separately?

Correct. All one pot. I doubted too but it was just right. It
didn't make it soupy and all the noodles were nicely cooked.
