Colonialism and climate change: A Filipino empandada, a Jamaican
samosa, and a tangerine grown in Georgia (the state). All from a
year around outdoor farmer's market

Leftover venison stew. Tryna clear out the freezer in advance
of an influx of new venison.

Soup. I made a kettle of soup, we've had one dinner and today
will be lunch #3 of this soup. It's good, BUT. This better be
the end of it.

I'm currently eating my first meals of the day while the spouse
has already missed two meals and is on an all liquid diet in
prep for the best ever double ended scan.
I may be murdered today :D

Probably soup. The veggie soup and the zuppa Toscana are both
made now. But just in case, we have some lovely leftover pork
from the pot roast and rotisserie chicken because HEB had an
interesting new flavor we wanted to try out. Garam Masala, and
it was lovely. Might be sandwiches instead.
May not be anything until after the visit to the doctor today,
though. It's just our semi-annual check up and prescription
renewal visit, but I know there will be blood work involved.

TJ's cheese and green chili tamales, with TJ's salsa verde and
pico and a dollop of sour cream.
There is no way in hell I do the nutritional math on this.
Question for the universe? Why do I hate polenta and love
tamales?

I think they're actually very different due to the foods they're
served with. Husband is the reverse of you - doesn't really
like tamales but is fine with polenta. Of course my polenta
contains cheese and a little butter. And is served with various
pasta sauces, all of which he likes.
He finds tamales very dry. I find them delicious because 1) I
buy them rather than make them myself and 2) carbs.

Yesterday's lunch was leftover lo mien so we could get it out of
the fridge. Dinner was the tuscan soup. Lunch today bids fair
to be a sandwich and caldo.

A vegan sandwich with corn chips. Marinated baked tofu strips
on gluten free multigrain bread with Vegenaise brand high omega
Ranch dressing.
I wish I could find the whole skit. It was funny.
