Sigh.
Like Queenie, I've been enjoying heirloom tomato season (though
perhaps not quite as, err, devotedly as it seems Queenie has
been). But I couldn't make it to the farmers market this weekend
and the grocery store didn't have their usual selection of local
tomatoes.
So today's lunch was a regular grocery store tomato sandwich.
And it was fine - but it's just not the same.

The good news: caf had individual chicken pot pies. Puff
pastry crust.
The bad news: too many peas.

I didn't know it was possible to have too many peas!
I made myself a grilled cheddar and garden tomato sandwich. And
a smoothie with a frozen banana in it.
