This is sometimes also me and Scritchy. If I bring it up, it's
something we don't need, etc. If he then hears it from someone
else or thinks of it himself *3 years later*, it's a great idea!
Do I need to mention, again, the dashcam that he didn't think we
should spend money on and then sent me a link 3 years later to
the exact same model I had sent him - because he'd researched it
and it looked like this was the best we could get for a
       reasonable price?

Mr Q is now helping Youngest navigate the actual car buying
       process. Pray for me them.
Everyone's head may well have exploded by the time this is over.

       Dear Young People:
You know how, when you misplace something and you've looked
"everywhere" but can't find it I always tell you to start
cleaning? And you know how you always pooh-pooh this solution?
And you know how recently when you misplaced your entire wallet
for three weeks and I said it was almost certainly somewhere in
that stand in for the augean stables, your bedroom?
       Well I WAS RIGHT, WASN'T I?
       Also, your room looks great!

You know how half our forks are missing and we never have one
when you want one? Think that might be related to bringing food
to your room and not bringing the dishes back to the kitchen?
