Youngest is going to some college formal thing with a friend and
their dates and they are doubtless going to engage in underage
drinking and then stay, um, somewhere in that state overnight.
And I am very happy they are not driving but part of me is
       worried because, teenagers.
       It's going to be fine.
       Right?
       [/quote]
Absolutely. And if it is not fine, they will manage to handle
it, because they are teenagers but they are also good solid
Queenie clan peeps (and their friends). And that's the important
part. Which means, yes. It will be fine. Totally, perfectly
       fine.

       Not a teenager, but:
Oldest is between cars at the moment after a deer strike and
before he receives his insurance check.
So today I offered to loan him my car as long as he drove me to
       and from work.
       Pray for me.

I would drive to and from work and let him have the car in
       between.

Asking as a son of a man who never let me drive him anywhere, do
you actually let him drive you to work, or do you drive there
and then hand him the keys?

       Heh.
He drives. I have to close my eyes part of the time, but he
       drives.
Shutting up is not one of my core competencies, it's good for me
       to practice.

My last remaining teenager is about to age out of this group,
       strictly speaking.
       I feel old.

Neither of mine are teens anymore but the mockery continues
       unabated.
ME: Who knew there were so many kinds of tamales?
OLDEST: You are such a white lady.
ME: What? I'm expanding my horizons.
OLDEST (pretends to be a middle aged woman, clueless of course):
It's like they can put *anything* in there! Who knew? It's
almost like a sandwich! Did you know that there are a billion
       kinds of sandwich? Imagine that.

       Good one, Bro.
(Nice to know that chop busting is also in your Real Life and
