Is Tobias Divergent

I've read Divergent (Sorry, first book only!) and I wanted to
ask if somebody can tell me if Tobias is Divergent! This is
bugging me! I tried searching it up, but there were no replies.
When the war was about to happen, and everyone got on the train,
Tobias was the only other one awake other than Tris. So does
that mean he's Divergent? I don't think he's Divergent, so how
is he awake?

i have never read the book, but i watched the movie. i didn't
even know that there were books before one of my classmates
brought it out.

I'm actually surprised. The Divergent series are really popular.
It has been compared with other novels such as the Hunger Games
due to their similarities. of course, I'd take the Hunger Games
over the Divergent series any day. :)

I'm pretty sure that Tobias is divergent, because the serum
didn't work on him.

Yeah, but I don't think so. I think the serum didn't work on him
because of another reason.

But in the movie, some other guy was a divergent, and the serum
didn't work on him. He ended up getting shot.

Well nobody really explicitly stated that Tobias was Divergent.

True... But I still think that he's a divergent. I mean, who
would try to be all the factions while being in dauntless?
