Do you think Harry would have been seeker, if he hadn't won the
first game?

The thread basically says it. I think he would have not, even
though he shows potential and he proves he is a great player. It
is not usual for first years to get a place on the Quidditch
team and since he got in by (luck!), he would have to double up
his abilities(I guess you could call it that) to prove that he
has what it takes to be on the team. Winning the first game was
absolutely essential for Harry to stay in the Quidditch team.

Actually i think he would have been seeker, the quidditch team
needed a seeker, and harry could play...

I think he would possibly be seeker but other options would have
been considered for who to be seeker.

Even if he didn't win the first game, everyone knew that being a
seeker was in his blood by his father, or at least ms mcGonagall
would know.
