Full name: Clarence Joseph Morgan
Nickname: Gunny
Age: 18
Physical description: Looms a bit over six feet tall, summer-sun
tanned skin, very muscular and clearly athletic, very short
dirty-dishwater blond hair, hooded moss-green eyes, a hard
jawline. Usually wears a t-shirt with some sort of group logo or
a jersey for a team he’s been on, normally with light blue
jeans. His stance is usually very confident, his stride strong
and heavy.
Character's Personality: He’s long since given up on trying to
hide his emotions and worry about what is socially acceptable to
express around other people, so he usually has very little
tolerance for that with others. He has a very short fuse and is
often very adamant about anything he feels, with no tolerance
for anyone who acts fake around him. Most of the time, he can
make friends pretty easily, once people get over the fact that
he’s a bit rough around the edges. Since a tendency for violence
and physical strength both run deeply in his family, as well as
flaming hot tempers, Clarence mostly exerts these issues through
sports. But he also is known for being a major fan of
science-fiction and fantasy, especially the Lord of the Rings
and the Avengers.
Background Info: An only child, he grew up with a timid mother
suffering from extreme bouts of depression and a physically
abusive father who suffered from undiagnosed PTSD. When Clarence
was ten, around Christmas time, money problems escalated to the
point where both of his parents went through extreme episodes
that ended with Clarence spending much of the holidays either in
the hospital or under medical surveillance. He wasn’t returned
to his mother’s custody for almost a year, and his father was
arrested, then placed under a restraining order. This order was
violated many times throughout Clarence’s childhood, without
report. By his last year of elementary school, Clarence had
begun to act out at school and spend a lot of time at his
friends’ houses rather than chance coming home to find his
father there. A series of visits from a social worker prompted
his mother to send Clarence away to school, in the hopes that
some time away from the situation at home would give him some
time to adjust.
