Room 202

[ooc: Please let me know, EM, if this isn't done properly, and
edit if needed! I am still not quite sure how the dorms work.
^.^ And MissM, you should tell me where you'd like this thread
to go, since I don't know what you'd like to write with
Alexandria. :3 bic:]
Trent Fisher
He'd walked Alexandria across the quad and through the commons
area of his dorm, mentioning some of his plans to make it really
cutting edge. He didn't linger on that much at all, though,
because at the moment, Trent wanted to keep the attention on
her. He was pretty certain, if he was reading her correct, that
he already had her attention. So now was the time where he
needed to be sure to return it.
Opening the door of his dorm room, Trent gestured with one hand
to the inside, his other hand held out to 'escort' her. It was
an action that seemed, to him, over the top, but he'd learned
that gestures like that tapped into that fairy-tale romanticism
so many girls clung to. And that always won him points.
On a scale of one to obsessive, his part of the room was, as per
his norm, relatively well-kept. There were always some things
out of places, usually shoes or jackets or books, and there was
a a semi-organized basket of dirty clothes shoved into the
farthest corner. He never made his bed.
He waved a hand vaguely around. "The Inner Sanctum." Trent moved
a copy of A Brief History of Time from his bed and dropping it
on a stack of less intellectual readings. He sat down in its
place and gestured for Alexandria to sit beside him. "So, help
me get to know you. New to the hallowed halls of Halesworth...
Which school are you?" He set his hand on top of hers. "What's
your favorite movie?" He moved to close the gap between them,
letting his volume drop as he smiled softly. "What are you doing
tonight?"

Alexandria Heffernan
Opening the door of his dorm room, Trent gestured with one
handtothe inside, his other hand held out to'escort' her. It was
a nice gesture on his part, but most of the time she couldn't
care less about romanticy gestures.
What she assumed was his part of the room was fairly well kept.
The bed was unmade, but then, hers wasn't either.
He waved a hand vaguely around. "The Inner Sanctum." Trent moved
a book from his bed and droppied it on a stack. He sat down in
its place and gestured for Alexandria to sit beside him.
She slipped her shoes off and placed her bag next to his, and
obliged, still taking in the organization of the room and filing
away little details for later. She smiled over at Trent when he
began to speak.
"So, help me get to know you. New to the hallowed halls of
Halesworth... Which schoolare you?" He set his hand on top of
hers, and she felt a thrill run up her spine.
"I don't know so much about hallowed, but I'm in the art hall.
Graphic design is my specialty." She trailed off, angling
herself toward him. "What's yours?" She knew it was a science of
some sort-they were in the science hall-but she didn't know for
sure and figured that randomly poking around wouldn't really be
allowed.
"What's your favorite movie?" He moved to close the gap between
them, letting his volume drop as he smiled softly. She smiled
and sat up a little straighter, declining to answer. Instead she
crossed her legs, suddenly glad she had chosen to wear a skirt
with pockets. The hem of her skirt lifted a little bit as she
shifted.
"What are you doing tonight?"
She almost rolled her eyes. "That entirely depends," she
murmered, raising an eyebrow. She wondered if he had anymore
questions, or if he would launch into a long, dreary explanation
of his evening plans that she would cut short.
She knew she would have to spend time on her art homework, but
it wasn't a big deal. She smiled. Whatever happened, she was the
one who had his number. He was her booty call.

"So, help me get to know you. New to the hallowed halls of
Halesworth... Which school are you?" He set his hand on top of
hers, silently letting her know the question wasn't important.
"I don't know so much about hallowed, but I'm in the art hall.
Graphic design is my specialty." Was she really keeping up the
small talk bit? But even so, she echoed his motion, closing some
space between them. "What's yours?"
Trent decided to just go with it-- apparently Alexandria liked
useless talk. He figured as much, or she wouldn't keep it up
this way. "Biology," he told her. "Genetics. What's your
favorite movie?" He put the subject back on her, since he didn't
feel much like talking, and she seemed to quite the opposite.
Meanwhile, he moved to close the gap between them, letting his
volume drop as he smiled softly.
Alexandria was silent, which he took as a good sign. Her subtle
shifting didn't escape his eyes. At this point, Trent was sure
Alexandria was fully aware of her own beauty. She wouldn't need
him, or anyone else, to remind her, and probably wouldn't
believe the person who told her.
He closed the space left between them. "What are you doing
tonight?"
She almost rolled her eyes. "That entirely depends."
Trent smirked. That kind of attitude was the kind he met so
infrequently. He liked that. "Well, then, how about now?" He
brushed his lips against hers with his final question, then
closed his mouth on hers in a kiss. Test the waters. He pulled
Alexandria against him, continuing kisses along her jawline to
her neck. His fingers found the hem of her shirt and then the
smooth coolness of her skin against his fingertips. No more talk
was necessary.

Alexandria Heffernan
"Biology," he told her. "Genetics. What's your favorite movie?"
Her lips curved into a smile. Perfect. He moved to close the gap
between them, letting his volume drop as he smiled softly. She
smiled and sat up a little straighter, declining to answer.
Instead she crossed her legs, suddenly glad she had chosen to
wear a skirt with pockets. The hem of her skirt lifted a little

Trent smirked. "Well, then, how about now?" He brushed his lips
against hers with his final question, then closed his mouth on
hers in a kiss.
She couldn't help but smile into the kiss, whispering, "I'm a
little busy right now," as he kissed up her jawline to her neck.
Stuff
Alexandria sat up after a minute, glancing back at Trent,
lifting her lips into a brief smile. She felt like she'd had a
bit of a workout already, which was a sign she needed to start
working out more often. But with cross-country/track season
getting into full swing already, she wouldn't have to worry
about that for much longer.
She reached over the side of the bed to fish her phone out of
her skirt-pocket and glanced at the time.
"Oh, bugger. Looks like I've got to get ready for track
practice." She stood up, stepping out of bed and pulling her
running clothes out.
"Sorry, honey." The little southern accent she cultured just to
annoy her parents slipped out by accident, but she passed it off
as normal. "I've got team obligations...." She pulled on her
track uniform, not really caring if the blinds were open. She
was comfortable with her own body.

Alexandria moved away first. An uncommon order of events, but
not unheard of. It was a motion he was grateful for, really,
since it meant Alexandria wasn't going to get clingy. Clearly,
she didn't expect anything more to come from it, providing a
metaphorical breath of fresh air. She was already looking at her
phone as Trent looked at her, absorbing the last moments of her
form before she left.
"Oh, bugger. Looks like I've got to get ready for track
practice." She stood up, stepping out of bed and pulling her
running clothes out.
Trent gave a short laugh. "You don't waste any time."
"Sorry, honey." Clearly, she wasn't sorry at all, which was fine
by him. "I've got team obligations...."
Trent shook his head. "Doesn't hurt my feelings any." He swung
his legs over the side of the bed and ran his hand through his
hair. "I'm gonna go get something to eat. Don't do anything too
stupid at practice," he commented by way of good-bye.

"Sorry, honey." She said, more as a way of explination than
actual apology. "I've got team obligations...."
Trent shook his head. "Doesn't hurt my feelings any."
She smiled, still getting dressed. Good, she thought, not
clingy.
He started to get up, running a hand through his hair. By this
point she was wondering if he realized he didn't have her
number, but wasn't about to ask.
"I'm gonna go get something to eat. Don't do any thing too
stupid at practice," he commented, possibly by way of good-bye.
She grinned. "Me? Do stupid things?" She couldn't help but
reply. "Oh please. I like my legs." She slipped on her sneakers
and headed out the door. "Ciao, Trent Fisher."
Since she was only on the second floor, and because she didn't
want to be called back to share her number just yet, she took
the stairs. She exited the building in no time, and seeing a
pair of teammates walk past she ran to catch up. She didn't get
the urge to glance back once.
