Sarah Jane Tompkins
By: maskednicci Date: December 14, 2013, 8:06 pm

Name: Sarah Jane Tompkins
Nickname: SJ
Age: 16
Character’s appearance: Grey eyes, 5'6”. SJ has always been a
'bigger girl', even though both her mom, grandmother and sister
are all super-petite body types. Her hair is originally brown,
but she always has it dyed a vivid blood-red color, long,
straight and past her shoulders. Occasionally wears glasses, but
usually she has contacts.
Character's personality: SJ has always felt like the lesser girl
in the room, the ignored one at the back. She has a sister who
is three years her senior named Annette, and she feels like she
is constantly being compared to her popular, extroverted sister.
Herself quiet and more interested in writing and wit than
cheerleading and chumps, SJ silently seethed while her mother
sung her sister's praises. But don't think Sarah Jane is one to
wait around for things to change. She's driven and stubborn, and
good at school, science in particular, and she likes to write,
especially dark, in-your-face satire or heavy allegories. Poetry
never beckoned to her, but she enjoys blogging online, and
spends way too much time on Tumblr and watching Supernatural.
Background: Her mom and dad never officially divorced, they just
stopped talking to each other when it wasn't required. Her
grandmother moved in with them about four years ago after her
most recent stroke, and is constantly nagging SJ and getting on
her nerves about every little thing. SJ was always more of a
loner type, but when she was about 8 she got very close with the
boy who lived next door to her, a spunky kid named Clarence who
would swap books with her and would play pretend Dragons in the
backyard and never made her play the stupid princess, but let
her play an armored knight, too. She moved away when they were
about 12, but now ended up going to the same school, Halesworth
Prep. They don't play Dragons anymore, but they're still best
friends to this day.
Concentration: Creative Writing/Classical Literature
AI/Faceclaim: Amber Wallace
