Update
By: Thorgrimm Date: March 2, 2021, 8:32 pm

I know everybody but myself has abandoned this site. Even so, I
still check it every day.
The reason I have not posted anything is that I am doing
everything on my computer. No need to post here when it is a
ghost town.
However, any questions asked will be answered by me. :)
Cheers, Thor

As an update I have finished the land movement rules. What
follows is one of the examples from the rules:
Example:
A Soviet HQ is in Tactical Mode, and has paid for Operational
Movement. This gives the Active Unit a base Movement Allowance
of 10 MvP's. The HQ is in hex ----|---- (Broken), and has
expended 9 Movement Points and the HQ enters the hex. The Soviet
Player must roll the die to determine Fatigue because the HQ has
expended 13 Movement Points, 3 more than its current Movement
Allowance. The Fatigue die roll indicates that the HQ does not
incur any Fatigue. The HQ continues moving to hex ----|----
(Broken). The HQ has currently expended 17 MvP's. The HQ rolls
for Fatigue, the result is a 1, so the HQ incurs a level 1
Fatigue increase. The player increases the HQ's FCL level on its
control sheet by 1. The HQ must engage the Enemy in combat,
which costs 3 MvP's to initiate. The HQ has expended 21 Movement
Points.
In addition I have done some work on John DeShane & and Asylum
of the Damned. 8)
Comments are welcome.
Cheers, Thor

Well, looking forward to the John Deshane update. 8)
Um, on another matter Thor, are you ever going to finish posting
the Roma Mater stories on this Site? You posted two chapters of
The Siliconate War: Damnatio Memoriae , but it's been silent
ever since.

Honestly, I do not know. As of right now there seems to be
little incentive for me to do so... Unfortunately.

I FINALLY found the Orbat for the US Army Air Corps in Sept
1939! Along with the Orbat for the US Navy in Sept 1939!
Now, you may be wondering why that is so exciting. Well, nearly
all Orbats for the US in WW2 usually date from 7 Dec 1941. While
the beginning of the war is ignored...
Well, now I have the Orbats! ;D 8)
However, I am STILL looking for the US Army Orbat for Sept 1939.
So my search continues... :(

I have come to realize that no wargamers would know what the
Final War is, so I am going to do up some scenarios for WW2
using the FW game engine.
So, along that path I have finished the Polish Armed Forces, and
below is an example from that Orbat. The first scenario that I
am going to create is Fall Weiss, the German invasion of Poland
in 1939. This scenario will, for the most part, teach the
players the Air & Ground rules.
Since the Poles have no chance to 'win', their victory
conditions is to just delay the Germans. The longer they can do
that, the bigger their victory will be. Then the players can
switch sides and the final victor will be the one who held out
the longest! ;D
Polish Orbat Example:
7) Army Lódz - Gen. Juliusz Rómmel -
1) Cavalry Brigade Kresy - Col. Stefan Hanka-Kulesza -
2) Sieradz Militia Brigade -
3) 2nd Legion Infantry Division - Col. Edward
Dojan-Surówka -
4) 10th Infantry Division - Brig. Gen. Franciszek Józef
Dindorf-Ankowicz -
5) 28th Infantry Division - Brig. Gen. Wladyslaw
Boncza-Uzdowski -
6) 22nd Mountain Division - Col. Leopold Engel-Ragis -
7) Operational Group Piotrków - Gen. Wiktor Thommée -
1) Cavalry Brigade Wolynska - Col. Julian Filipowicz
2) 30th Infantry Division - Brig. Gen. Leopold Cehak -
8) Army Lódz Aviation - -
1) 32nd Reconnaissance Escadrille - -
2) 3rd Squadron - 6th Air Regiment - -
1) 161st Fighter Escadrille - -
2) 162nd Fighter Escadrille - -
3) 63rd Observation Escadrille - -
4) 66th Observation Escadrille - -
Gav, below is an example of what the ground forces will look
like in the Final War (WW2 Version).
Can you give me a critique and any suggestions you may think it
will need. :)
