Jan 1830
The South Carolina Canal & Railroad Company Has announced that
construction has begun on the route Charleston to Hamburg. They
expect to open the route in December of this year.
The Schuylkill Valley Navigation & RR Company Has announced that
construction of the route Port Carbon, Pa to Tuscarora, Pa. They
expect to open the route in July.
The Baltimore & Ohio has announced that they have begun
operating the Baltimore to Harper's Ferry Route in January.
The Mohawk & Hudson Railroad Company has announced that they
have Chartered the Albany to Schuylkill route and have begun
construction.

Feb 1830 -
The Tuscumbia Railroad has announced their chartering of the
Tuscumbia, AL to Decatur, AL route, and have begun construction.
They expect to have revenue trains running by August.
