       Post-Apocalyptic links
By: MatthewMathay Date: November 12, 2015, 10:15 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Hey, guys, I'm just putting a couple of good post-apocalyptic
game sites out on the board for your viewing pleasure, and
perhaps inspiration. Now, without further ado, here's the links!
       Mutant Bastards!
  HTML http://www.bigfella.com/mutbast.dir/mutebas.html
A homebrew page for Gammaworld, it's worth a look. Travel the
Wasted West, deal with mutant bipedal coyotes with guns, and
meet a sheriff with six guns( and six arms to shoot them with
:o) Or visit the Weird South, meet dogs than fly(with their
minds), and avoid the sinister Greeps.
Update(9/25/2021): Well the link seems to be dead :-[, but do
not despair for its seems the reason for that is the creator of
Mutant Bastards! has had the game officially published as it's
own rpg and no longer just the house rules for his Gamma World
       2nd Edition campaign, so that's cool. 8)
       Wasteland-Wasteland 2-Wasteland 3
  HTML http://wasteland.gamepedia.com/Official_Wasteland_2_Wiki
A wiki dedicated to the game Wasteland, the 1988 classic which
would spawn the Fallout franchise as a spiritual successor, and
the long overdue sequel to that ground-breaking game. Now,
       featuring Wasteland 3 as well.
       Well, that's all folks 8)

Ask and you shall receive, o great one ;)
       JamesAxler.com
  HTML http://jamesaxler.com/
Homepage for the Deathlands and Outlanders series of
post-apocalyptic novels. I've bought Outlanders since high
school, in fact its what got me interested in the genre. The
wiki on site is buggy at the moment, but the Archives section
has a great couple of old fan sites that are a pleasure to read,
if you like post-nuclear holocaust science fiction. Check it
       out! ;D

I used to read Axler's Deathlands when I was younger! ;D
Been a while, but I remember enjoying them quite a bit!

Is that Gunny book series a Post Apoc series of books? The name
       sounds familiar? ;) ;D

Maybe. I think it had something to do with fire, dirt, strange
people called Gunny, and a deplorable lack of Numerians. Sound
       post apoc to me!
       :D

       No Mutants Allowed!
  HTML http://nma-fallout.com/
One of the original message boards and fan sites for Fallout.
Also, home to the unofficial English language mod for The Fall:
Last days of Gaia, a German post-apoc game inspired by Fallout,
Mad Max, and worked on by former Black Isle developers. Plus,
one faction in The Fall: Mutant City(either a sequel or
expansion, I don't know :-[) definitely looks a lot like
Caesar's Legion in style, taking into account the differences in
game engines and the time difference (2004 vs 2011).
Edit 1/14/2016: Mutant City is technically a sequel, but is a
point and click style game rather than an RPG.
