       Democratic cordons already seem like things of the past and we
       even see more alliances between the conservative right and the
       extreme right (Italy, Finland, Spain...) How do you analyze
       these dynamics today in Europe? This is, in fact, the third
       reason that explains the advance of the extreme right. If we
       look, except in Hungary and Poland, the extreme right has
       entered different European governments always hand in hand with

       In short, yes, I agree that unfortunately democratic cordons are
       things of the past. The one who opened the ban, let us not
       forget, was Silvio Berlusconi, who in 1994 brought the
       neo-fascists of the Italian Social Movement (MSI) and the
       ethno-regionalists of the Northern League to government. The
       result is evident: the history of the transalpine country serves
       as a warning.
