What should this ecoshed consist of?
will it be a test structure to live in
       or to grow in?
heres some great links i've found:

sickkk ill have a look at these links shortly :))
last time i spoke to rob the plan was to put in some sort of
smelting things and try to power it through compost - so itll be
a test structure which will be big enough for about 4 of us to
sit in and itll have some sort of power supply that itll be
creating itself... we need to get proudfeet on here so he can
keep us updated, he is the structure master!

Hey guys those links look awesome,
I have a cousin out in North Carolina who is part of a
cooperative initiative thing, she basically has a bit of land,
just off the coast i think, that was in her family and she's
started to build her own farm on it to raise her own kids. They
keep bees and all kinds of little livestock like chickens and
stuff. And, I'm sure I could ask her for some practical advice
on how to look after the homestead and for more details on how
the cooperative side of it works. One thing i am quite wary of
is the financial strictures that govern almost every aspect of
our lives (sad times) - as i feel that we will inevitably have
to seek some compromises in terms of making sure the place runs
efficiently and sustainably from a money point of view.
Hopefully my cousin could give me some advice on that, although
it is inevitably different in america than over here.

yeahhh any advice and stuff would be helpful! the particular
constraints on money things will depend to a large extent on
where we end up going, but as long as we dont expect to get it
all working perfectly at once we should be able to progress
       towards sustainability i hope! :)
