Between Worlds - OOC

Hey guys, this will be a more advanced RP, post a character to
get approved and read the rules, its not going to be easy and it
is important to be creative and thoughtful.

The setting is a dream world, one that the people inside know
very little about. Each character has some power to alter what
happens in the dreams. Power to change things cannot be too
grand such as killing others by thinking about it or waking up
from the dream. Twelve hours are when the people are awake in
the dream and twelve other hours are like their sleep except
they wake up in different places and situations each time,
sometimes forgetting what happened the days before. Their memory
is never completely gone and dejah-vu can help bring some things
back.

There are rules in this world and I reserve the right to edit or
change broken rules if necessary. I am going to give a lot of
room for creativity but just real simple rules,
-No godmodding, I mean come on. No power playing. Respect
others, respect me.
Now it is important to know, two people cannot dream of the same
thing at the same time, UNLESS they are together inside of a
dream, which is possible. If my character is dreaming of a
castle and another character remembers say a tower from the
castle, and they try to materialize it in their own dream, it
will disappear from the dream my character is in. Also, if
another character tried to remember mine, they will suck my
character out of her own dream and into theirs (be very careful
not to power play this, ask first!!!).
Try not to allow your character to remember too much too fast,
make this a journey.
If your character dies in any way, they simply will wake up in
the next dream. No matter how they die.

If you want to join please ask me and post your idea for a
character here, this is a very creative thread with much more
than combat. Try to paint a picture on peoples minds of what a
dream would be, could you experience and control bits of it.
There are a few things each character must have, a memory and a
symbol. It can be any symbol but no matter what it must be
unique and show up in each twelve hour segment. The memory you
can post on your character sheet, it is the beginning, middle,
or end of a pathway, per say. So, if my character remembers the
entrance to a tunnel that is the beginning of the pathway,
then no one else can remember the beginning because, when all
the characters are eventually combined into a narrative with
each other, their memories will create a complete journey to a
doorway, the end of the pathway.

Character Sheet
Name (first and last)
Gender (male or female)
Appearance (picture if you want, or just description)
Personality (don't make this too detailed, let it be a
discovery, but at least have an idea of who your character is
and what they value)
Family background (Rich? Poor? Parents? Orphaned? This will be
important as the story progresses)
Skills/Interests (anything your character knows they like and
are good at, you at least get to remember things like that)
Symbol (whatever is the only thing that shows up in every
dream, anything from a weapon or piece of jewelry to a building
or natural object like a tree)
Part of the Path (beginning, middle, or end... only one person
can have the beginning and only one can have the end, so pay
attention to other people's characters)
Other (anything else you think we should know)

Appearance Medium build, redhead, blue eyes, 5'1
Personality Quiet, calm, and collected but, she also has a
powerful temper. She is full of contradictions, she has a
dualist personality.
Family background Middle class family, raised by only her
father, mother died of cancer when she was 11, one older brother
Skills/Interests dancing, running (high endurance and speed),
mixed martial arts, languages, and history
Symbol An old, oak tree
Part of the Path middle of the path, closer to the end than
the beginning
Other We'll see now won't we.

Gender – Male
Appearance – small, frail, 5'6. About 120 pounds, Very
neat and handsome.
Personality – Timid, friendship is key.
Family background – Rich, mostly estranged towards each
other.
Skills/Interests – Natural problem solver, also a fencer
that was self taught, and likes planes and jets.
Symbol – A pocket knife with a shattered blade.

Are characters aware of the power they have in their dreams or
do they to learn that as well?

It jus kind of a chance memory thing, if they remember
alterations from before, but say your character is in an ocean
and freaks out about dying, they could trigger a change in the
dream and figure it out that way... its going to be a lot left
to each persons imagination

Oh yeah, and just FYI, please no one sentence posts for this RP,
make it more descriptive and interesting. All OOC should occur
here :)
All the characters thus far (Chris Redfield and Fell Stoker) are
accepted and you may begin posting anytime you like!

Like this but don't think i will be in this,because im not sure
if I understand it all(the mechanics). If you can exaplain it to
me other than text or have someone else tell me like solokolos
that would help. Anyhow I'm now sure how I will be able to do
this being I won't be writing daily.

Gender – Male
Appearance – He is tall, medium build, is wearing sweats,
and has a half white half black shirt.
Personality – He has no idea pretty much, will hopefully
evolve throughout story.
Family background – Orphaned
Skills/Interests – Acrobatics, is very agile.
Symbol – Has a black glove on his left hand that has
retractable blades(but i don't know that XD), has a weighted
white glove on his right, he has a strange rune on his chest.
Part of the Path – Middle towards the beginning.
Other – He will heavily change throughout story based on
decisions he makes/what happens.
