Advertising?

Ok, I have nothing to do with my life half the time outside of
school...
So I plan on doing some decent advertising?
What are some methods I could use?
I'm going to do some stuff on youtube...
Start a code of the week maybe...
Or a news sorta thing for Graal and site updates...
What else?

Start a clan? i know there are alot around but it would be a
good way to get some new people over here. Maybe you could
contact the admins to see if they would endorse this site? I
cannot thing of any reason for them not too apart from well,
maybe they aren't supposed too and it should solve some of their
problems with all the advertising of codes and people trying to
sell codes. Apart from that i guess just telling people and
encouraging them to join the forums or we could advertise on
iphone game/review sites like touch arcade,slide to play etc

There is only a small handful of admins I could talk to, for
advertising purposes but I still don't know if they would go for
it.
I'll get back to you on that.

I actually have a guild, but an old one for another site...
So I need to change the name.
I didn't want to start it until it was changed...
I asked Bomber if he could change it and he just told me admins
can, so I sent a message back asking for it to be changed to...
"Enforcers of Death"
So yeah...will update when I get it started up!

I wouldn't blame the admins if they decided not to endorse the
site because there are others and they guess they aren't allowed
to have favourites. On the other hand now the sites indexed it
stands a greater chance of being noticed. The problem is getting
people to emigrate from the site to the forums :-\

Having an average of 1000 people visit the site a day, and only
an average of 1 forum member a day isn't good :/
Let alone only actually having like 10 percent of those posting.
I should make it so that first, when you actually type in
graal-ta.weebly.com it comes up with a big page saying:
"Have you registered on our forums?
If not, come have a chat!"
Or something like that with a no thanks button that continues to
the site, and an I would like to register button, that takes
them to the forum register page!

Ok I can't do it properly now though.
All the pages on the .weebly site have the same layout and not
much customization, so really all I can do now is put a massive
link to the forums on the main page.
I'm going to start work on a proper html site today, and will
move to a proper domain between 2-5 days.
That means we will have to wait to be indexed by google again
though, and that takes a couple of weeks :/

Ok what I'm thinking I'm going to do...
Simply use the weebly page as a redirect service, just one link
on the site that says, "this site has moved here".
This way people can still find it on google, and from the links
we have around, and we will have the proper domain.

I saw someone randomly advertising the site fr a while. The
apparently don't belong to the forums either.I might have
accidentaly chsed him off but I think its intersting people are
advertising the site on their own. I'm aso getting messagesof
Kudos from other player and i tend to mention the forums. I
honestly expected no reaction :o
