Help' thread along with just a 'general discussion chat' where
people can just ask for help in the same place and chat to each
other altogether. Just my opinion though :)

Great idea, instead of having individual subject threads for
each subject, at each University, as we are only just starting
out (10 members so far!), we should just keep to this thread for
general discussions.
I will start off :P I'm cosine, and I started the Bachelor of
Biomedicine at UoM this year. So far, the course is pretty
boring and dry, lots of revision from year 12 especially with
chem and bio.

Also guys, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share the
forum with your friends who also attend University. The only way
we can grow and become a more interactive and engaging community
is through your support and word of mouth, so any support right
now is taken with gratitude and we are extremely grateful for
the current users' contributions to the forums so far. Thank
you.

Hey guys. I'm Floatzel. First year, doing Science - Research at
Monash. Been pretty fun so far. Really enjoying University over
High School :)
I guess most of us have been on break for the last week. Did
anyone get up to anything at all?

I actually did nothing all week haha, most I did was some
biology revision, as I have a 10% MST on the 11th of April I
believe, biggest assessment so far...
Besides that, just been watching youtube all week, just enjoying
myself xD
Yourself?

How do your MST's work? Are you just given them during your
workshop/tutorial classes? I'm pretty sure the MST for my IT
unit is held during a lecture, which I find weird.
Yeah, I've been house-ridden this week. I tried doing some of my
assignments and pre-lab work I had, but didn't actually do most
of it haha. Spent today and yesterday doing everything I
procrastinated on.
This week I actually ended up planning and looking ahead at the
rest of my degree already. Planned some potential paths that map
out some potential majors I'm interested in. Not 100% sure on
what I want to major in now haha. Do you have any idea of what
you want to major in yet?

Our MSTs are online, the biology one I have soon timed and is 20
minutes long and 15 questions, all MC though.
A lecture MST ay, can't you just look at the laptop of the
person in front you haha?
Yep, same here, I had to finish my math assignment which is due
tomorrow all today. The break was worth it though, good time to
relax from the uni stress.
What exactly are you interested in researching once your 3 years
are completed? I am most likely going to major in immunology and
microbiology, might change down the path too. I am also
considering some research after the 3 years too, not 100% sure
though xD
