Treasure Hunter gone dark, Fiona Fox, once the romance interest
of Tails 'Miles' Prower, now, while she lasted, quite possibly
one of the keys that led to the drop in popularity of the Sonic
comics from the glory they had. Some even theorise that moves
made with her were because of Ian Flynn not liking the situation
but for now, we'll have to leave the theories.
[U]General Biography[/U]
Fiona Fox has had an up and down life to say the least. Robotnik
captured her as a child and used her as the basis of the first
of his Mobian resembling robots, leaving her to die afterwards.
After long enough Fiona realised that it would be upon herself
to escape, it took her two years but she pulled it off, though
at this point she was full of hatred and anger as she believed
that she had been abandoned by her family, by Sonic the
Hedgehog, and by her cell mate Mighty the Armadillo.
Fiona turned into a Bounty Hunter and thief soon after her
escape meeting Nic the Weasel. Soon enough her despise of Sonic
and Mighty became apparent, emotionally hitting to Fiona was
that as they explored an old Robotnik mine they found several
robots that had been made to mirror freedom fighters, just like
Auto-Fiona.
Fiona showed up again later on down the line and lost her hatred
for Sonic after he supposedly sacrificed his life. Fiona joined
the freedom fighters, and developed a relationship with Sonic
later on after he returned. The relationship ended in a shambles
though, as Fiona had fallen for Scourge after he'd popped up and
hit on several Knothole girls. Fiona had tried to see what she
wanted from a relationship in Sonic. But Scourge's ways reeled
her in more.
Fiona ended up becoming one of Dr Finitevus' agents but kept
other options open since she had Scourge by her side. This
eventually led to her becoming the queen of Anti-Mobius after
Scourge became the king. Fiona went as far as breaking Scourge
out of the no-zone jail.
The two continued their relationship and Scourge grew more and
more demanding. Eventually one night gone wrong led to the two
having a child, commonly called 'Alt Madness'. In that day of
his birth, Fiona felt an overload of positive emotions,
something that she felt that she had never felt before.
Everything that she had done came back to her like a storm.
Fiona only lasted about another 11 months with Scourge. A minor
miracle in itself given how often Scourge came close to
attacking their child. After a falling out between the two she
laid out a diversion for the hedgehog, packed what she could,
and took off into the night. She knew Scourge would want both
their heads after he pegged onto the trick, so for Alt's
childhood years she went under the radar, raising him as
secretively as she could. She aspired to be as good of a mother
as she could to him to make up for all of the evil that she had
committed. It tore at her heartstrings when Alt turned out to
have Scourge's 'f**k and go' attitude, Alt picked up on this,
and in a heart to heart of their concerns that almost saw Alt in
tears he told her [I]"If there's anything you taught me mom,
it's that I'll grow out of this phase eventually. That, and when
it happens I'll have done something to make you really
proud."[/I] she holds onto this ideal.
After Alt killed off Scourge, Fiona returned to the throne of
Moebius as the queen, with her new positive attitude she managed
to perform her duties like she had the last time that she had
been queen, but this time she was alone.
She has an unwavering wish to see those of good that she has
wronged and to put things right with them, the one the most that
this falls under being Tails. While she follows and does her
duties she still has her son's best wishes at heart, if he turns
up with a wounded friend she won't turn them away either.
[U]Notable Points[/U]
Since she has lost her evil side, Fiona has undergone massive
changes at how she feels about Tails and how he tried to treat
her well before she turned. She feels deep regret strangely
enough mixed with a longing for him. If the fox still has
feelings for her upon their reuniting she will be willing to
accept a date with him. Meanwhile Fiona burns with hatred for
Scourge, and it is in the duty of the guards of the Anti-Mobius
Royal Family that they are to apprehend or terminate any green
hedgehogs with stomach scars and red sunglasses.
As a writer I know jack squat about the comics and didn't take
in that much about her from Mobius Encyclopaedia. Though key
points have been snapped up, my representation of her is most
likely very different to how it was when she was good in the
comics. But consider this. She's been through childbirth, had
her love for Scourge broken, and raised the child, while in
hiding, that killed off the reason that she became evil, of
course through all of that she's going to be heavily changed in
her attitude.
[U]Character Relations[/U]
Alt: [Color=pink][I]Mother And Son[/I][/color]
Alt is Fiona's son and his birth was the first key leading Fiona
back to a path of being good. She raised him to be good despite
the odds being stacked against the duo, unfortunately genetics
got in the way, but Alt has promised her that it'll stop and
he'll be settled one day.
Fiona would go through hell and back to defend him. And quite
frankly, he'd do the same for her.
Madness: [I]Trusted[/I]
Fiona met the 'prime mobius' version of her son when Alt brought
him back to the castle after having to fight off a hostage
situation with his little 'fangirl' problem and a fangirl of
Alt's who thought taking out his prime self would impress the
prince. Madness had taken some pretty heavy hits and, though
stable, could still use a fair amount of healing, one of the
guards around the castle brought the similarity of the two to
Fiona's attention who took a look into things. Madness tried his
best to be polite and thankful, and, despite that Fiona calls
him the 'Alt' of the duo, she seems to accept him as a mobian
and, since he's one of Alt's friends, wouldn't turn him away,
plus there is that The MFF are originally from Moebius and she
wishes she could gather the necessities to bring them to a
halt...
Tails: [I]Not sure[/I] (Secret Crush)
Fiona and Tails have past, Hoh boy do they! Tails fell in love
with an automation of Fiona that Dr Robotnik had made, this was
an influence that led Tails to later fall in love with the real
thing. He did his best for her, and what does she do in return?
When she fell in love with Scourge and it was revealed that she
had, Tails tried to convince her not to leave with him, and she
broke his heart for his efforts.
It's now been years since the two last saw each other.
Sonic: [I]Not sure[/I]
Fiona has known Sonic for almost all of her life, she hated him
at first when a rescue attempt failed, but eventually those
feelings fell through, she even ended up being his girlfriend
for a while until Scourge showed up and her feelings turned
towards him.
Now with Scourge gone and her being back to the side of good.
She knows she'll have to face Sonic again eventually.
Scourge: [I]Enemy[/I]
Scourge... How she'd [B]love[/B] to never see him again. Scourge
and Fiona share tons of history together with the hedgehog
leading her off on the wrong path, even as far as, she has
eventually realised, him attempting to put her in a situation
that would kill their unborn child. Being nowhere in sight at
their child's birth, a growing pile of injuries stopping Scourge
from trying to harm their child, the hedgehog's attempts to hunt
her down and have her killed. Those memories still burn her, any
Scourge who steps onto her planet, be warned, you are doing so
at your own risk, as the whole Anti-Mobius guard will be out to
hunt you down.
