Name: Shane Toraking Echidna
Nicknames/Titles:

Brother in Arms (White Wind and SJ only)
Little Guardian (Knuckles from his time only)
Species: Hedge-Echidna (often hides the Hedgehog features)
Gender: Male
Weapons: Fists, Feet, occasionally his head (for a headbutt),
and his wits
Appearance:
A white echidna with dark red violet markings, bangs that cover
his right eye, bright blue eyes. That is unless he has his ears
unpinned, then it’s obvious he’s a hybrid. He wears a black
scarf, black partially gloves that have gems on the cuffs,
jeans, and black combat boots.

Personality:
Headstrong, Never gives up, yet very nervous about revealing
that he’s a hybrid
Powers/Abilities:
Physical Combat
Strategic at times
Strong enough to bust rock with a good punch or kick
Aura Sight: able to see the energies of others and as a bonus
if blinded he can use this to see.
Aura Trace: track other via left traces of their energy
His fighting style looks more like a dance
Can Swim
Glide: Like Knuckles, he can glide
Excellent hearing
Flexible
Weaknesses:
Gynophobia or the fear of women: mainly talking to them
He is afraid to be judged by others because of being a hybrid,
thus he often keeps his hedgehog ears pinned down and hidden in
his dreads. (even from White Wind and SJ.)
He also doesn’t like being trapped and unable to move but can
tolerate it more than White Wind.
Aura Trace isn’t very helpful after two weeks.
Backstory in Short:
In his time:
Unlike White Wind, Shane didn’t have that grand childhood with
both parents around. It had started out really nice but then at
the age of four, something happened that separated him from his
parents permanently. It’s assumed that there was a tragic
cave-in of the underground tunnels of the Island and Shane was
the only survivor. Evidence of this is from where Shane was
found, at an entrance to the tunnels an entrance that was
blocked by many rocks. He had a locket around his neck that had
his name on it, inside were pictures of the two that were
assumed to be his parents. A dark purple male hedgehog and a
red female echidna with reddish brown bangs.
It was decided that Shane would be raised from that point on
by the Guardian of the Island, Knuckles. At first, Shane was
distant and quiet probably due to trauma from the events that
possibly killed his parents. Then one day he started to mimic
Knuckles and fight off anything that came near the Master
Emerald well that was small enough for him to scare off that is.
The kid earned the nickname ‘Little Guardian’ that day. Things
went up from there with training.
As a teenager, Shane started thinking of going out in the
world. Some part of him believed his parents escaped and out
there looking for him. Often at night he’d take out that locket
and look at the photos, attempting to hone in on their aura but
to no avail. It wasn’t until he was fourteen that he snuck off
the Island after leaving a note for Knuckles (whom he had called
Big bro for years).
He traveled the world, but found it was better to hide his
hedgehog traits, until the virus took hold. He was twenty when
he came back to the Island only to find that Knuckles had been
taken by the virus, this was also when he met White Wind. The
two became friendly rivals, even Brothers in Arms. Was a month
later when the duo found SJ and took him in. He even kept his
hedgehog traits from those two for fear of judgement.
In this Time:
Wasn’t long until these three hatched a plan to find cure this
disease. Which ended in the three being separated, SJ stuck in
their time, White Wind off somewhere else, and Shane in the
forests near Knothole.
Extra:
He loves to sing and dance in private and can occasionally be
caught doing so. When nobody is around, he lets his ears stand
up.
