Home Sweet Home

Natasha somewhat tiredly opened the door to her home, the home
that Ajax had been sharing with her. It was a quaint place, and
that was enough for her; as she walked in and flopped onto the
settee, she sniffed the familiar smells of home and yawned.
"Well... Here we are, Shoke... Make yourself at home, I guess."
The feline flipped herself over and looked to the ceiling.

Shoke entered and removed his boots to prevent bringing any more
of the outside inside. He then walked over to a nearby seat and
sat down, relaxing his body and sinking into it.
"It's a lovely place. Do you live alone?" He asks inquisitively.

"No... My friend Ajax owns the house, but he let's me use it
like my own..." Natasha sighed, sinking into the cushions
slightly as she kicked of her moccasins and cuddled her tail.
"He should be around somewhere... He could probably help us with
that 'problem' you have." Stretching out and patting her belly
happily, she finally felt relaxed again.

asleep where he sat.

As the hedgehog dozed off again, Natasha rolled her eyes and
giggled. "Knew he was going to do that. A nap does sound nice,
though." Yawning, she rolled on to her side and nodded off to
sleep herself; Ajax would be there sooner or later.

Speak of the devil, a certain brown lynx was not far off; still,
the two goofballs would have a good hour or two before he would
come by. Ajax opened the door gently and brushed a little bit of
sweat from his forehead, setting a pack full of herbs on the
ground by the settee. He glanced to Shoke, smilling; "Brought
some company home, huh Tasha?.."

Shoke didn't wake up to Ajax's entrance, in fact he was even
snoring.

Natasha, on the other hand, was not fast asleep like her
new-found friend. Her ear twitched as she mumbled back, "Yeah...
New friend... Named Shoke... Nice guy..." She turned onto her
back and glanced to him somewhat sleepily, yawning and
stretching herself. It had been a nice nap, but it was still
day; there would be plenty of time to sleep at night.

Ajax simply shrugged. "Friend of yours is a friend of mine.
Shoke, huh?" The lynx knelt down beside the sleeping hedgehog
and inspected him lightly, curious as to how they must have
bumped into each other; he could see the bandages and could only
assume she had found him injured. "Not gonna lie... Feels kinda
like a weird form of deja-vu..."

The sound of them conversing roused Shoke from his sleep. After
an extended yawn, he managed to pull himself up from the seat
before rubbing his eyes, letting him see... decently.
"Hm...? Oh... hello." Shoke said nervously, scanning Ajax with
his crimson eyes. He didn't look dangerous... but he should
still be careful.
