"I'm sure he is gonna be, too, Sapph." Natasha smiled, putting
her shirt back over her stomach and leaning back, taking in some
deep breaths; until she noticed a familiar movement in her gut.
"Oh, oh, he's moving! Do you wanna feel, Sapph?" The feline was
beaming brightly as she felt the squirming of the unborn child,
adoring his lively nature. To feel a child moving about in her
belly, it made her so proud to call herself a mother, to say
that this was her little bundle of sunshine. "Feels like
Nathaniel wants to roll around in my tummy! Hehehe!"

Sapphire's ears perked up and she looked at Natasha when she
said the baby was kicking. When she was asked if she wanted to
feel the unborn child kicking, she didn't look too sure about
it, she wore a worried frown as she carefully reached across and
put her hand gently on Natasha's tummy, feeling the child kick
and move within her friends womb.
She wore an odd smile that grew into a sweet one, "I can't wait
to play with the little guy, that's for sure, he does seem
rather bubbly" She nodded as she brought her hand away, and put
her hands in her lap, she looked around, maybe she shouldn't
have gotten everything done so quickly so that she'd have
something to do now.
Well she did have something to do, that something being chatting
with Natasha, but Sapphire had to admit.. She felt a bit strange
talking about the unborn child, she had known her friends for
quite a while now, but this was the first time they where
pregnant, although it had been months now. Sapphire feared
everything changing... They wouldn't change too much.. Right?
She'd still get to play and hang out with her pals.. Right? Or
would they become too busy with their 'little bundles of joy'?
Where would that leave her?
She looked back at Natasha's tummy before frowning down one
eyebrow and raising the other, "You think he'll like me?" She
asked Natasha as she leant down forward, closer to her friend's
stomach, "How does 'Aunt Sapphire' sound to you in there,
Kiddo?" She asked the unborn kid.

The unborn child gave a gentle kick, and Natasha giggled; "Feels
like that's a 'yes' from him, Sapph!" She stroked her stomach
happily before her ear twitched and she looked to the door.
"Hmm... I think I heard Ajax..." She would quickly be proven
correct, as Ajax popped the door open, holding the cake, as well
as several other snacks and treats for the baby shower. "Honey,
I'm hooooooome!" he called out in a goofy manner, seeming to
cherish how close he and Natasha were to having a child of their
own. As he set the bags down and placed the cake on the dining
table, the lynx waved lightly to Sapphire. "Good to see you,
Sapph; I'm guessing you helped Tasha with the decorations?" He
gave the hedgehog a sweet hug before going to his feline mate
and kissing her belly. "You weren't straining yourselves, were
you two?"

Sapphire laughed softly at Natasha's comment on the kick being a
'yes'.
She looked up and in came Ajax, with cake and all the good
stuff.
The hedgehog looked over the cake when it was placed down on the
table, before waving back at the lynx, "It's good to see you too
A.J." She smiled, "Ah, yeah, I guess I helped a little" She said
as she hugged him back, before watching him go over and kiss
Natasha's belly, which made her smile warmly.
His last question she took as him asking Natasha and the baby,
whether this was true or not she didn't know.
"Don't worry Ajax, I made sure to check on Natasha, and she said
she was doing fine, and Muffin appears to be doing pretty well
too, he was kickin' just before"

"Yeah, and now Sapph has taken to callin' the little tike
'Muffin', heheh." Natasha smiled as Ajax kissed her belly. "We
got all the decorations up, but maybe you and Sapph could work
on the snacks?" She stretched herself out on the settee,
giggling as Ajax nodded. "Yeah, you're probably itchin' to do
something other than sit, huh Sapphire?"

Sapphire was on her feet in a super sonic split-second.
"You've got that right" She nodded, running on the spot, she
needed to mooooove! She had so much energy and nothing to do
with it!
The hedgehog moved to run on the spot beside Ajax, "I'm not any
good at cooking, if that's on the list of things to do related
around the snacks, but I sure can set up the food and anything
else you may need me to do" She did a small hop and then planted
her feet on the ground, stopping her little running spree, as
she clasped her hands together "So what am I doing to help
Ajax?".

Ajax ruffled Sapphire's hair as she ran in place beside him,
smiling happily at her energy and upbeat nature. "Don't worry,
I'll be doing the cooking; but, there's a lot to do to set up.
Bowls need to be set out, napkins need to be placed... Just a
lot of stuff in general." He scratched the back of his head
somewhat nervously; it probably just sounded like a bunch of
chores, but they needed to be done to get ready for the
celebration. "I'll be working on things like the fruit salad,
okay?"

Sapphire laughed as Ajax ruffled her hair, she loved it when her
hair was ruffled! Especially by people close to her heart.
"Setting up? Pssssh! Not a problem for me Ajax" She smiled,
"Napkins, bowls, what else? I'll get them" She rushed into the
kitchen, having been at Natasha and Ajax's place many times
before now, she knew where everything was, she had plenty of
bowls out on the table, set out nicely alongside some napkins
she found in one of the bags Ajax had brought back.
Her eyes lit up hearing 'fruit salad', she wasn't big on the
meat side of eating, a fruit salad was very close to dessert for
her, she would bounce alongside him as he made it, leaning over
his shoulder, "Oh! Oh! You're putting Watermelon in right? Some
rockmelon too? Oh! Oh! And Apples! They're fun when cut up in a
slinky, Oh and gra[b]pes? Can't forget grapes[/b]" She said,
pressing down on her fingers as she seemingly counted the fruit
that came to her mind.
This hedgehog either needed to find something that could keep
her busy for longer, or needed to slow down when she had
something to do.

"Rockmelon? Oh, cantaloupe! Yeah, we'll put some of that in.
We've also got watermelon, apples, grapes, pears... You want to
help me cut them?" Ajax had been pulling out all the fruit while
Sapphire dashed about and set things up. There were even some
marshmallows to throw in, too. "Gotta slow down with these
knives; don't want you getting hurt... or accidentally hurting
either of us, heheh."

Sapphire clapped her hands together and let out a soft happy
cheer hearing about all the fruits that where going to be going
into the fruit salad, there was even marshmallows!
She nodded when he said to slow down around the knives, and
immediately did a little jump and planted her feet on the
ground, bringing herself to a stand-still.
"Slow down, right, of course" She said, wincing slightly at the
words 'slow down'.
"I don't mind helping cut up the fruit, I'm not the best at it
though, but hey it's all going into our tummies anyhow, right?
So it doesn't really matter if it's cut up too bad" she pointed
out.
