Today was a special day; the day of the baby shower. Natasha had
been at it all day, sprucing up the house the best she could. As
she went about, setting up streamers and ribbons, it seemed that
Fem was not the only pregnant girl; the feline was at least 6
months into her own pregnancy, waddling about quickly to get
from place to place. It was going to a big thing really; Madoka
was supposed to be coming, and Sapph was helping to wrap the
gifts. It was mostly down to Fem and Robin making it, at this
point. She just wanted to make sure her and Ajax's house was set
up, nice and pretty. "Sapph, how is the present wrapping coming
along?"

What a big day today was shaping up to be already!
Sapphire had rushed over to Natasha's place early so she could
help out with the decorations and setting up the baby shower
itself.
The hedgehog had taken up he role of wrapping up gift for
everyone coming, she was focused in on what she was doing until
Natasha called out to her she finished her little bow on the
little gift box of a pair of small baby blue shoes, before
looking over at the cat, "It's coming along great 'Tasha! How's
the decora-aahhhh Wooah..." She looked around the room, a smile
on her face, as she looked back to her friend and shot her a
thumbs up, "That looks great Natasha!" She nodded, as she got to
her feet, woah wait, She had been sitting down. Still. And
focused. For how long? What is is?
Sapphire wasn't pregnant like her friends where, but she was
older, she'd shot up a fair bit too, her body had grown on the
outside a fair bit, but had she herself on the inside grown up?
Not quite that much.
She wandered over to Natasha and took one of her hands in her
own, "You're not having any problems with the baby are you? If
you need streamers put up and your back hurts too much or
anything, you let me know and I'll get it, ok?" The hedgehog
smiled warmly.

"No problems, Sapphy, but I appreciate the concern, eheh." The
feline leaned over and kissed Sapphire on the forehead, ruffling
her hair a little and smile. Even with the baby, Natasha was
still her normal self, and she still looked to Sapphire like a
daughter. The hedgehog had been with her for a while now,
helping her prepare... Had it been an hour? She couldn't tell,
but it had been a long enough period of time that Sapphire was
probably getting antsy. "You've been sitting for quite a while;
you want to switch spots for a bit?" She giggled a little bit,
sitting down for a short moment and placing both of her hands on
her swollen belly. "I don't think the tike would mind a little
change of pace, heheheh."

Sapphire smiled, one because Natasha said she was doing alright
and there was no problems and two because of the kiss. She'd be
lying if she said that Natasha didn't feel like a mother to her.
When Natasha brought up the idea of switching spots Sapphire's
ears shot up and her eyes lit up slightly, she couldn't help it
that she liked to move, do you know how hard it was to stay
still when wrapping those gifts?
She nodded rather enthusiastically, "Sure! I'll have this done
in no time!" She said, but who knew that she meant it literally?
Literally seconds later of her being a blur of blue and the
colours of her jumpsuit and boots, dashing about the house. She
had it all done. She had improved in her running and not
knocking everything over skills.
She dusted her hands off, brushing them against each other as
she headed back over to Natasha, "Done and done" She announced
as she grabbed a seat beside the cat and began to work again on
the gifts, she was persistent in helping out here.
She smiled slightly watching Natasha put her hands on her 'baby
belly', "You sure? Maybe the kid likes to keep movin'?" She
shrugged, picking up a rattle and giving it a shake, before
showing it to Natasha, "I advice not giving this one to Robin,
he'll drive Sister and their child insane by constantly making
music out of it" She laughed lightly, and crossed a leg over the
other, leaning back slightly in her chair as she got the baby
themed wrapping paper out to wrap up the rattle, "So do you know
what gender the kid's gonna be? Boy or Girl? You gotta name for
it yet?" She asked, her eyes on what she was doing.

With the blue blur that was Sapphire having sped through the
entire house, setting up the rest of the decorations within
seconds, a smile quickly spread across the paunchy cat's face.
"You always seem to be faster and faster, Sapphy, heheh."
Natasha had begun wrapping some of the presents herself,
reaching over her gut and cutting up the wrapping paper as
needed. She took the rattle and wrapped it gently; "Don't worry,
the rattle isn't going to them; I remember 'Robin de Espaņol'.
As for the muffin in my oven, it's a boy; we've been thinking of
'Nathaniel' for a name. Little guy likes to move every now and
then, but he seems to enjoy just about anything I do... Even my
running exercises." She set the wrapped rattle aside and reached
for a box of large toy blocks, wrapping the box easily.

Sapphire grinned hearing that she appeared to be getting faster
and faster, "Well I guess I'm a bit faster now that I've
improved on not hitting into everything as I pass it" She
laughed, cringing slightly as she remembered when she did bump
into pretty much everything.
She watched Natasha take the rattle and wrap it up, "'El Robbo'
was quite the dancer I've heard" She laughed again, she just had
to see 'Spanish Robin' at some point in time.
"Nathaniel, that's a nice name~" She nodded, as she picked up
another gift, a soft stuffed animal toy, she looked down at it
for a few moments before reaching out and grabbing some wrapping
paper to wrap it. "Although, don't blame me if I end up calling
the kid 'Muffin' now that you said it" She smiled rather
teasingly, before tying a small green bow around the wrapped up
toy animal and setting it aside, picking up a small toy plastic
tool box, she grabbed a bigger amount of wrapping paper, set the
toy down on the table, standing up herself, before trying to
wrap it, "So Muffi- I mean Nathaniel, you and Ajax have been
thinking so far.., hang on, where is Ajax?" She asked, pausing
to look around, "Is he out getting stuff for the baby shower?"

"Glad you like it, Sapphire... Although, Muffin sounds like a
good nickname, hehehe." Natasha was as giddy as Sapphire, it
seemed. "Ajax is out getting food and such for the shower,
yeah... He should be around sooner or later. He is getting a
cake and everything." She stood up and held one end of the
wrapping paper as Sapphire worked to wrap the box, smiling. They
wouldn't need much longer, and then it was just getting everyone
together to celebrate. Although, she had to keep herself from
drooling as she even mentioned the cake.

"Mmm~ Food, he's getting Chilidogs, right?" She asked, before
her eyes lit up hearing about a cake, "Ooo~ Caaake" Now she was
getting all excited again!
Like how she had gotten excited hearing about all the
pregnancies in the first place, she couldn't wait to meet all
the kids and play! She sighed slightly, Nine months? How could
you wait that long? Fem and Natasha where about 6-7 months into
their pregnancies already that's 2-3 months away from labour,
and Sapphire got more and more excited with each passing day!
She couldn't play with her pregnant friends anymore for the
moment, as 1.) They didn't want to hurt the unborn baby and 2.)
Well Fem already couldn't hold her rifle, how could they play
with their swollen tummies? Not to mention, they seemed to get
tired rather quickly and wanted to eat loads of different foods
all the time.
"Does he need help with getting the food? I could dash down to
the store and help out" She looked at Natasha's belly, "Wait"
She shook her head and tied a box on top of the wrapped up toy
tool box, "I promised to stay here and mind you, so there'll be
no leaving for me until Ajax gets back at least" She nodded and
put the wrapped up gift in the finished pile, sitting back down.
"What do you think the kids will even look like? Or be like?"
She asked, putting a finger to her lips as she examined
Natasha's tummy, holding her own hand out in front of her at the
length she thought Natasha's tummy was now at.

"Chilidogs too, Sapphire, don't worry!" Natasha rubbed her
stomach, now excited by the promise of food herself as well. She
was getting quite hungry; she was eating for two now, after all,
and she already had a crazy big appetite to begin with. She
pulled up her shirt a little and stroked her white fluffy tummy.
She was smiling at how Sapphire wanted to go and help Ajax, but
also wanted to stay and help her. Still, the question of what
the boy would be like perked her interest. "You know, I don't
really know... I hope he takes after his father for the most
part... And I hope he doesn't get my appetite, eheheheh." She
blushed, thinking about that; she really hoped he didn't have
her appetite.

Sapphire looked away slightly when Natasha lifted her shirt up
to stroke her tummy, she didn't want to be rude, she didn't know
if Natasha wanted her to look or not. She didn't quite know...
She had grown up being told to look away if clothes came off or
up, so it was also somewhat of an instinct, just something she
was use to.
"You hope he takes after Ajax huh?" She said, as she grabbed the
last the last thin to be wrapped; A book, she frowned, looking
it over, it was a photo book of some sort, she flicked it open
and saw that the pages had some notes and labels that where in
there as a part of the book, 'First word:, First steps:,' And a
bunch of other firsts as well as a whole few pages dedicated to
pictures and writing for full months.
Sapphire held onto the book tightly looking at it... Sadly?
Worriedly? Who knows.
When she finally looked away she snatched up some wrapping paper
and quickly wrapped up the baby book, tied a bow and then walked
around the table to put it in the finished pile, before flopping
back into her chair by Natasha, "Well.. I guess you can't go
wrong with Ajax, huh? You can't really go wrong with you either,
your kid's gonna be a great mix of you two I'm sure".
